Hey love your channel just wondering what rod and reel would you use for trout and what line?

@XxBoSsxxHoG get a Shakespear ugly stick and light real.I Have had mine for about 10 years and the pole can catch 20 pound fish but it's good for trout because of the light real,usually around 4-6 or even 8 pound line is plenty for trout!

Hi, yeah the squidgy wriggler is a very effective SP for Bream and many other species, its got to be that enticing tail movement! I like flick baits as well and got a huge surprise a few weeks back when I caught a nice sized Luderick on a flick bait twitched close to a local jetty. Have you tried Bass Assassin SP`s yet? Hard to get in Australia, but we are working on that! Very effective on all species. Tight Lines.

@averageangleronline unfortunately I havent tried bass assasins. The flick bait is my second choice rigged onto a resin head. Today I bought some 'Strike pro" reaction bait plastic minnows and I must say I was more impressed with them than the berkley minnows, few reasons as to why, 1. the packs have more juice in there with plastics with14 pieces 2. the plastics are all in good shape, with berkleys always get 3-4 that are deformed. I place them all in sealable containers. Tight lines buddy.

@averageangleronline Try this,Zoom lizards!BIG favorite by me always #1 set up,all the lakes i have fished i have caught dozens of big bass on them,they are cheaper then all the bigger brands but work just as good!If not better!

The smelt minnow is great on bream especially in the shallows along the banks. But my favourite for bream is the squidgy wriggler and then the flick bait

Sorry for the delay in replying. Thanks for your question and hope I can help. The 3 inch minnows are very good for Trevally, especially the natural smelt colour. Their slim tail has a good action and, although Trevally take them when twitched, a faster retrieve seems to incite a more aggressive take. Another good GULP is the 2 inch Minnow Grub that has a curly tail with heaps of action, being only 2 inches long these are much easier for a Trevally to get in its mouth. Tight Lines.
