Hi Paul. Just wanted to let you know that yes, this did mean something to me. I went to high school with your dad (and your mom). He was a brilliant musician...the best accompanist ever, and played for our Concert Choir as well as our school musicals. I was extremely saddened to hear of his death. You have, quite obviously, inherited the musical abilities of both of your parents. This is being written two years after the fact, but your father lives on in the hearts of many.
Beautiful, I know what you are going through. My Dad passed away three years ago and it was/is this most tragic event in my life. Even tho, I attended 30 funerals growing up, from all four four of my grandparents passing away from the time I was in second grade to high school, and cousins, uncles and friends dying, I was never affected so badly until I lost a parent, and then my whole life changed, I now realize the only one thing that will be past on is the love we got from our parents.
