I found this Saw movie to be the most disturbing solely because so many of the people that the main guy knew were in the traps: his sister, the wife and kid of that guy he denied insurance to, those six employees in the spinning trap, the janitor, that one chick in the steam room, and those other two in the trap where he has to let one of them get hung with the wire in order for the other to live.

People dont like Saw to see people be tortured, far from it. It isnt truly about torture. The people in the Saw traps are people that the original Jigsaw (John Kramer) didnt see as appreciating there lives. Of course it varries with Hoffman and Amanda but that's a different story. Anyways, it's the amazing story that makes people want to watch Saw. Not the gore. I hope that explained it a little
