I dont understand. Iranians went with the revolution to overthrow the Shah because of the curruption, modernization, western influence and pro-US government? Or did religion overthrow the Shah's path he had set up for Iran?

There is always a reason for a revolution..As a Native Canadian, we never had the chance to revolt, the christians gave my ancestors blankets infected with smallpox as gifts at christmas, and killed most of my forefathers in the name of christianity...Our religion was outlawed and we as children were placed in catholic schools where we were raped and abused by the priests...oh how my people have suffered...but our plight goes uncared about...please google Canadian native suffering
