This radar looks too primitive to be from 1998. Are you sure you don't mean 1988?

@6891man I live in Lincoln,Nebraska where this station is. This was from 1998.. This radar is the tv stations own radar that was located at the station at the time.

@kcfan974 it's located at the top of that tower that looks like an ATC tower right?, (it's also a Sprint cell site)

I still have video from the early '80's when "10 11 strong" used to lead off the newscast with the weather! Linda Beerman, to be exact. I might post it someday.

@vieillevision The radar is way different then it is now. The Beep at the beganing is still the same and Ken Siemek is still there.

@vieillevision 10/11 is way differnt now of corse the the radar has cganged. Ken Simick is still there. The severe weather alert is still the same.

@vieillevision the radar now uses a semi-sattelite imagery...sort of like intellicast now.
