Free tuition would be possible, at current funding levels, by cutting expendatures ~30%. This could be done with contracting out some services, reducing overstaffing and eliminating overpaid tenured positions.

Just because the executive team was at the picket lines does not mean they endorse the strike but endorsed fare wages which YFS has always done for student.
Are you aware that it will cost app. $20,000 dollars to have a new election, for new executives to be in office for about 2 weeks? This money can be spent elsewhere at York University such as to help students redeem money from their tuition fees. Do you really want this group in power that is completely ignorant? These individuals are giving false information. The YFS did not have a chair at the bargaining table.
