Canberra was the most advanced jet bomber in the world for quite a time and the soviets used their term for the Canberra on any western aircraft that was fast and advanced.

Haha i saw the canberra at RAF Marham (its last operating base)the week before it went out of operation!!
Its Amazing
But i thought that it was justa Photo recon aircraft not a bomber? :S
