Just my opinion I could be wrong but I think as long as the couple is honest and open with each other than anything is possible. Sometimes it's not the cheating it's the deception the lying behind the cheating you never know what your mate might let you get away with if you just talk about it

@supersegaman: -exactly- it's betrayal that destroys relationships. The vast majority of people I know in OR have a policy of *full disclosure;* some couple even agree to have their primary mate -approve- of their secondary mate(s). It really is all about being honest, communicating a lot and having lots of compassion for all involved.. sounds like a lot of people are so insecure that they can't go to that place of -intimacy.-

I think open relationships that are honest are very, very grown up. Most people just can't handle that level of honesty. I would like to try it to see if I could be happy. what I have found so far is men who want to do them and want me to themselves. Which is not my scene. I'm into everyone has the same opportunity if they meet someone to add to the relationship. So I could end up with two husbands or two husbands that have other wives or one husband and a secondary. The possibilities.

I'm not arguing symantics with you, but the people who are into this are not cheaters, their mates DO know about the other partner(s).. that's what makes it "open," that giving of consent from partner to partner.

I'm in an open relationship. Honesty is the key to success and considering I have been with the same two women for over 10 years living in the same house raising children and living a normal life. Polamory is great and I know lots living it.
