  • I enjoy this music!!,....beautiful!

  • great music and dance thanks beauty in itself *(*-*)*

  • Does anyone remember a short cartoon about the creation of manking that this song was the soundtrack for? i saw this thing like 20 years ago on showtime or cinemax and it was entitled "the creation". when i heard this song, that cartoon immediately popped into my head. any information will be cool.

  • Yeah ! Yes !

  • isao was on the edge, im down...

  • Only these ice skaters could make Tomita suck

  • Extra na sniadanie .

    Very good song.

    New day.

  • jag kan sova till bolero. Bolero är mitt faboritstycke

  • You left out the best part ...

  • Great, thanks a lot for this one.. but can we please have the complete piece? thank you!

  • The original piece goes on for about 9 minutes and can tend to grate on you. I find this version is all that's needed. The version that Chris & Jayne used would have been of a similar length because of the Olympic rules on the length of time that a dance can be performed.

PS I knew Chris & Jayne when they were kids at Nottingham Ice Stadium.

  • Grate on you? If you were 60 you wouldn't dare to say something so... moronic. Well, if you're 16, you're excused... :)

  • @PrZemek44

    I AM 60, so that's my opinion!!

  • @Nottincommand1

    Who're Chris and Jayne?

  • @Spectralancer

I would have thought that most people would remember Christopher Dean and Jayne Torville's ice dance routine at the Sarajevo winter Olympics, all done to Ravel's Bolero.

  • @Nottincommand1

    When was that? I'm 18.

  • @Nottincommand1

Oh, the couple in the video, right? LOL.

  • I remember listening to snow flakes are dancing album back in the late seventies and very early eighties it was awesome. I have this album on vinyl it sounds effin great.

  • If you listen this on CD(maybe this version is suited too) with Dolby Pro Logic decoder then the march is just waking around you, fantastic...

  • Was this actually the version used there?

  • thanks for your comment , and no it wasn't .

  • Where did you first discover this then?

  • Awesome,ahead of its time,and all that...trully a wonderfull piece!

  • we meet again and thankyou for watching - trichoone .

  • @WolfgangAmadeusF Ahead of Tomita's or Ravel's time? :)))

Not really. In both cases, but you can not love it!

  • got into tomita at young age = now nearly 40 and the magic is still on

  • @princessdemonseed Tomita: Same here, just a few years older.

  • This video is a tribute to one of the best synthesizer musicians of the age...and I salute the persons or the one that put it together. Tomita can only be compared to no-one!

  • Thankyou and brilliant Tomita .

  • Others buy completed synthesizers from music stores.Tomita buys seperate components from electronic stores and builds his own synthesizers. That's part of what gives his music it's unique sounds. And what gives it such life.

  • I have a torrent containing 23 CD's By tomita!

Recently i had an error on one of my drives and I lost a few songs!!! I can't believe how furious I was when it happened.. Does any one have or know where I can obtain his discography via torrent or??

The torrent I downloaded it from was "Isao Tomita 23 cd's" BUT i can no longer locate the torrent on isoH. CAn any one help a dear old Tomita fan!!

    Let me know...

  • sorry i can't help but I woundn't mind having the same - trichoone .

  • please buy his albums. i don't care if you download crappy music from the sell-out bands of today, but visionaries like Tomita need to be supported by his fans. i'm sure you can get them on amazon or something, yeah?

  • I know how you're feeling. I had a bunch of his stuff on my computer (that I didn't have on CD) and lost it all, also. It's such a shame that a lot of his stuff is either out of print (an old friend of mine has pretty much every vinyl he put out from 1972 through 1984) or too expensive to have imported/ordered in from overseas.

    Still, great music.

  • Just an update, I had backed up my drive! So after restoring I had it all back!! oo!! oo!! I can load this 23 cd set to a torrent if any one wants to get it.

  • I'd like to see what you've got. I've been a Tomita fan since the 70's and can't get some of his stuff on CD anymore.

    Thanks!
