I prefer to set the pace for the dog especially in the beginning so the dog tracks with accuracy and learns to check every footstep. I want a deep nose and no casting. This is sport tracking foundation work, he needs to be calm and methodical. Nero's natural pace is faster, but he will make mistakes if allowed to track to fast.

It seems like the handler/trainer is holding Nero back quite a bit... Is there a reason? I haven't done that for tracking...

@kruofud if you hold the dog back a little, the drive to track is increased.
