What I mean by this is that your teaching your muscles to move in a "slower" manner before the workout actually begins! After it burns through all of these, your glycogen storages become depleted. This is when your body begins to convert your fat into energy. For that first ab workout, there's actually a yoga pose that you can do and it doesn't require weights for all the people out there who don't have one. You can either have your hands behind you on the floor or hold it palms together at your heart. Keep your legs together, lift them up off the floor, and twist your hips from side to side.

Doing this exercise routine 3-4 times per week (and especially back to back days) is going to put you at risk for "overtraining" your abdominals. When you work your stomach, you break down the muscle fibers it contains and need to give your body at least 48 hours to repair itself. (if not more) Try doing this routine 1-2 times per week for the best results!

@missXamiee i wouldnt recommend doing it every night, even though personally i do, you should let them rest especially if you arent use to it so ever other night is fine to see results.
I find this extremely helpful. But the only thing I struggle to do is the crunches. I can't lift up to the height that you do I can just about lift my shoulder blades up. I am so unfit. Lol Please help me!!! X
@BabyBlueBaby97 for crunches you dont need to go high at all, just make sure you tighten your stomach and go slowly to really get the best work out, once you're use to it go as high as you'd like! :)

ITS REALLY IMPOSTANT TO WORK OUT YOUR BACK WHEN YOU DO ALOT OF ABS EXCERSICES. if you do abs, you have to work out your back too.
