Mark can MOVE - his bopping is even better than his jiving. Truly fabulous to watch. And both of them such nice people. Who cares if it's lindy, rock n roll, or jive - they can dance, full stop: a joy to watch, the pair of them.
Hahaha, some of these comments here made me laugh. I've danced 20 years and I may not be the best or even good dancer but believe me it's much better to see a bunch of amateurs dance without any stupid choreography that bunch of "pro's" who dance like robots and you can distinguish them one from another based on what dance school... At least most of the amateurs have some character. Just my 2 cents.
I'd rather see more dancers like Mark & Genevieve join the jive contest. Only then will it be a competition. I have never joined the competition nor do I plan to. I know I can dance and I dance for fun, not to win anything.
example : they are nothing compare to linddy hop dancer's I've seen the only reason why they are good is because she is tinny to do flips and they are fast but they are not .... the best ..... ppl you just haven't seen nothing yet but I'm not a hatter I give them their credit .... good luck to them in the next vlv
Did you know that on easter sunday 2007 mark & genevieve won the "World Jive Championship" held at the "Gold Coast Hotel" Las Vegas (USA)for the third time against 22 other couples?
It wasn't a World Jive Championship. Hardly any quality dancers attend Viva. Most of the people on the dance floor are amateurs. I've danced with Genevieve before. She's easy to dance with, especially because of her size and therefore makes it easier to do aerials. I would break my back trying to do that with any other girl. If you type Viva Jive Competition on a youtube search you will find the winners of previous years' competitions. truly pathethic if you see for your self.

mark & genevieve are very nice people as well as extremely good dancers we met them at the jive jive jive weekender we had a great time with them.
