order of the caliphate has nothing to do with islam. no concept of kinship in islam. Prophet Muhammad(saw) is the last of all Prophets(may Allah be pleased with them all). Muhammad's(saw) prophethood has no continuation whatsoever in any form. and Hazrat Ali(ra) himself accepted the caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakar(ra), Hazrat Umar(ra) and Hazrat Usman(ra). he never said a word about his desire to become the first caliph. now who are we ordinary mortals to decide anything about the caliphate ?
