@TOBigNasty65 yes - because the bar and plates are machined with very tight tolerances so once they are loaded they don't move much. most lifts are done in singles so if the plates do move then they can be adjusted after it's dropped before the next rep. We usually only use them on squats where the bar oscillation can shake small plates off the end.
Don't forget that Hamman was pretty good quickly after doing powerlifting for a while. Pat came in strong, has a good coach, and has dedicated his life to lifting. Isn't that what most good lifters do?
My life sucks. I'll never be as strong as Pat!

is there a reason why there aren't clips on the ends of the bars for most of the video's? just wondering

@michaelzwarszawy Here's my 2 cents hoping so! 500 total needs to be done and only an SH has a chance.

@michaelzwarszawy Paul anderson could press 500lbs with ease.

Amazing lifting!! Is the wider grip front rack beneficial? or is it personal preference?

It's whatever position looks the strongest from the very beginning. we modify slightly as time goes by, but usually not much.

he thought about it, but he was just doing cleans that day and hadn't done any up to that point and decided that 220 cold was not the best idea.
