  • This is cool ! Take no notice of fun makers, they can't run like you !!! Just mouthy !

  • still nothing on david goggins

  • Run forest Ruuunnnnn

  • He wins because he doesn't have to go around lakes, he runs across them...

  • Does anyone know what song this is?

  • inspire my way of running with minimals living and running

  • How do you make a video like this?

  • A dear friend introduced me to this video and it is totally inspiring.

  • anton krupicka = what we would have been if cavemen decided to run EVERYWHERE.

  • very pretty where ever you at, what a place to run/hike. have you ever been bothered by bears? so you see alot of wildlife? I bet they are awesome.

  • judas made 26 accounts just to dislike this...

  • RUN FOREST RUN!!! :D

  • Thumbs up if you critiqued his form while he was running in slow motion.

  • @tripleMmagic thumbs up if you didnt.

  • this guy rocks check my channel out with running

  • I liked him in forrest gump

  • What mountains?

  • i used to run ultra marathons, but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • what shoes were you wearing

  • is this video out yet?

  • I used to run like that when I was young, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • tsada doh

  • What is he doing with those shoes?

  • @Tobriep81 removing the bottom part

  • @ZOOOOMG yeah i get that but what for? it kinda defeats the purpose of a shoe doesn't it?

  • @Tobriep81 wow, you should really read the book "born to run".

The shock absorbing part of the shoe acctually works against its purpose.

  • Where does he live??? I want to go there and run!

  • I wish I had places like to run too. Where I live I have people always throwing things at me or wanting to fight me. Always makes for an interesting run. Just today I had to stand ground against 8 guys. I had some pepper spray :)

  • If I lived in a place like that, it would be so much nicer to just run run run. But Middle Of Nowhere, England, has pretty much nothing to offer as far as scenery goes. Just rows of ugly houses. Not very inspiring :(

  • He just looks so easy and free when he runs.

  • Anyone know the song that is playing in the trailer? Who it is and the name of the song.

  • @IRRunner narcoz - planete haine

  • 5 Minutes ago I was an Athiest. Now, my world has been turned up side own

  • Killer scenery! I can see why a person would run for 8hrs with views like that!

  • want.

  • Why did he have to modify his shoes? Were there not good "flats" back then even before the "minimalist" shoes that we have today.

  • @Killroy1999 Did he cut off the soles? I couldn't tell. I've only seen a handful of people run marathons in minimalist shoes, one of whom I chatted with around mile 18 and he said it felt like both his feet were broken, I'm not sure if he finished. I would assume even less people run ultras in minimalist if any.

  • @vibraharp829 dude some people don't train to be able to do a lot of different 'tricks'. some people train to express themselves and to know themselves better, even if that means doing one discipline. everyone has a different way of doing this and all anybody wants is some satisfaction and peace of mind from what they do and that should be recognised and looked upon with some compassion. so with all respect, don't be so judgemental

  • @NamelessHill

Thanks for your well-thought-out response. I appreciate and respect that instead of the usual name-calling. Let's say we "agree to disagree." Peace.

  • @vibraharp226 i bet ur a fat ass

  • Comment removed

  • @vibraharp226 Being able to do many things good and nothing great makes you average. I'd rather be exceptional at something.

  • @vibraharp226 sure that makes you a overall better athlete. You're still average though. I'd rather be the best at something, then be good but great at everything else

  • Incredible. I've just started running half marathons at age 28 and i was amazed at how difficult it was just for me to complete a 21km run. I'm doing the full 42km in December but i am preparing myself for some serious pain. Considering i was a heavy smoker and drinker for 10 years im surprised i can even walk!

  • he stated exactly why i love to run

  • congrats man, keep up this physical condition.

  • Jesus Christ back on earth..!!!

  • im diggin' this french rapping

  • How can you dislike jesus??

  • @K1rilas cos he didn't run on the water

  • Song name?

  • my favourite part was when he ran

  • RUN FOREST RUN!

  • every land animal runs barefoot and is capable of survival even the coldest of weather without heating supplys or layers of material. yet man needs an extra pair of souls, several layers of clothing, we have to cook most of our food to survive from eating it and we need extra precautions for weather extremes. and we are allegedly superior! we need to at least listen to those who enjoy watching people live, thrive in health, and know how to enjoy life without selfish pride.

  • @saffnpepa Your statement "every land animal...is capable of survival even the coldest of weather..." is so blatantly wrong. Animals have evolved to survive in their environments. A polar bear could not survive in north africa just like a cheetah couldn't survive in greenland. As far as humans go, without fire or clothing we SHOULD be living close to the equator, but since we became smart enough to control fire, make clothing, and make shelter, it has allowed us to live almost anywhere.

  • Hmm this may sound like a stupid question, but what is Anton doing to his new balance in the beginning of the video?

  • @10redx nevermind its not minimus

  • @10redx He is cutting off the extra cushioning that would mess up his stride.

  • @YaroslavnaKadulina Hey thanks now all I gotta do is find some good clothes for running in the winter I like the performance top Anton is wearing but don't seem to have much luck finding it.

  • run forest :)

  • JESUS CHRIST.....

  • Always watch the whole world! acquire the global viewpoint! And fly to the end of the space! Be united with God! Lead to the acme of the narcism indulgence.

    常に世界全体を見よ!!グローバル視点を身に付けろ!!そして宇宙の果てへ飛べ!!神と一体になれ!!自己陶酔耽溺の極致に至れ。

    Keep training self!

  • running is the basis of almost all sports. running is the sport of the gods:)

  • this story seems kinds strange ... his running style looks like a newbie jogging ... he's bottoming out very hard on the heel, like people do who are new to the runnung thing. After 20 km his knees must be shattered.

  • @wickedvalues What video are you watching? He is clearly landing on his forefoot.... Look at any of the videos of him running and he has very efficient running form. How many 100's have you won?

  • @wickedvalues .... he runs ultra marathons, ULTRA MARATHONS !!! thats 100 miles, and he runs every single day of his life, you would expect that he knows how to run at the very least

  • @wickedvalues Are you serious..Now that this BF movement has come out everybody is a freaking foot strike expert. I mean..nobody likes a theorycrafter, go win a few ultra's than criticize him.

  • @dominatein08

ok I see. I am wrong :) I didn't know about him ... his career is really impressive

  • My life's running goal was 26.2 before I knew ultra marathons existed. Now that I know....my goal is 26.2.

    :-)

More power to anyone who does these. i have the utmost respect for it; it simply is not for me!

  • @BuffetWarren3 Why is that amazing?

  • 0:40 He really doesn't like shirts. Me neither!

  • NICE VIDEO! Long live to the runners! This is a cheap sport, healthy, spiritual.

  • nasty slow-motion from 1:33

  • If he regularly runs 50-100 miles he must eat like a bear just to maintain his weight!

  • is that a movie?? qhere can I find it??

  • 161 km! 100 miles is 161 km!

Since I don't understand miles as well as kilometers, I was always like, so what, 100 miles, but now that I have calculated it... This is a very very very long distance that he runs!

  • @YaroslavnaKadulina - Yea, we know....

  • The most amazing thing about this is he is not wearing an ipod

  • What shoes are you wearing?

  • The earth started spinning because CHUCK NORRIS didn't tell it to stop after his run.

  • @craigmack731 The earth is always spinning :P

  • I can't be the only one who keeps watching this for the music, am I?

  • anyone else on here feeling a little happy hehehehe :D i"ll go primal with ya mr.runner guy ;D

  • @icandygurl333 i've been growing my hair long

  • Only one man could beat this guy, Forrest Gump

  • finished my first 50 miler last weekend and have got to say... tony started the inspiration for me...

  • Absolutely amazing. I just did my second half marathon today. I can't even contemplate doing a full marathon and an ultra marathon literally blows me away! Kudos to you my friend.

  • what does he do to his shoes in the beginning??

  • @ogdemigod he cuts the heel off for less drop and a bit off the toungue

  • @cjd891 please forgive my ignorance i am just getting into this..what do you mean by less drop? thanks

  • @ogdemigod basically he makes it to where his heel is closer to even with his toes to better accomodate a natural forefoot strike

  • @cjd891 i see thanks!

  • @ogdemigod theres also a pretty cool interview on new balance's website with him and he talks about all the mods hes done to shoes

  • @cjd891 cool ill check em out! :D

  • How can someone dislike this? Mo Fo's! I wanna see you guys running!

  • Cool !

  • Run Forest Run, suprised that stupid comments not all over these videos

  • What song is this?

  • Running 100 miles is fucking crazy.

  • Wow dude this is really cool. 0:45 how do you get shots so steady? Check out my Dimple Hill video, You got any tips on how to get better footage when running?

  • @victorbigdipper

A large goup of people, including me think barefoot is best way to run, and Anton. So to allow oneself to move efficiently over mountains, you'll need a shoe that protects, but also mimics a barefoot. So he's cutting off the large heel that is in traditional running shoes, so the shoe is flat. Also, removing parts that bug him. So, he was essentially making a mountain racing flat.

  • what is he doing to his shoes??

  • run forrest, ruuuunnn!

  • @footballLaxFBGM Did you look up a running vid just to say that? Comedy genius clearly.

  • @footballLaxFBGM FFS at least come up with something every runner hasn't heard weekly.

  • Watch~,,Movies`,;Online',`Here"`"

  • does distance running give you great definition?? or sprinting?? and which gives the smallest core?

  • @11033066099 nutrition

  • @11033066099 a combination of distance and a good diet

  • @Nhordmyr

Here's what you do. You work in manual labor. You get up at 3:00 run, got to work, get home, run, eat dinner, then go to bed, and do the same thing again, for 4 days every week.

  • 18 people can't even run to the bathroom

  • btw if you guys run marathons or even ultras what do you do for living? I'm almost in my mid-20s and still live at home and practise

  • I also got a problem with authorities. guess thats why I run.

  • He's my inspiration to make me run(: Thank You Anton for make a 15 year old want to run for fun

  • @ThatOneGuy1027 go for it!

  • this is so much better with the 1911 thing they have today

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @ozzy2221

I want to know as well.

  • Furthest I've run is 4 miles :\ Not really a runner, just as far as soccer goes and running laps. But I really want to do something like this someday

  • @music4ismylife8 nice this morning i will be running my 2.5miles since a year i haven't ran. My best running distance was 14 miles, and I could have gone to 18 if i wasn't dehidrated that day.

  • @danflav1n I wear jackboots and a codpiece. Each to their own.

  • @danflav1n I tried that but I kept stepping on it.

  • @danflav1n I tried it once but kept tripping.

  • Wanna know what running shoe to get? Problem solved with the new iPhone Application called ‘Wet Test’ on iTunes. If there’s a shoe for you we will find it.

  • Gotta love them short shorts

  • Just recieved the DVD and watched while spinning... off out for a run now... motivated. Great dvd and seems like a real nice, genuine guy.

  • I'd be worried about ticks... little something called Lyme disease.

  • jamendo.com/en/track/23121

  • Narcoz - planete Haine

  • Mark Sisson disagrees with this. Asafa Powell and Mark Sisson are both far more ripped than this guy .

This guy is doing activity which promotes coronary disease.

  • @ObesityMyth but their muscles will go all saggy when they get older you twat, unlike this guy who trained him self up to run these amazing distances, his heart is probably 10 times better than theirs

  • @ObesityMyth Did you know that some scientists who base their studies around human evolution say that humans evolved around running great distances to catch prey? Regardless if this is true or not humans DO have the capability to run hundreds of miles when they are in the right shape. And you are wrong, the only reason people have heart problems due to running is if they are running farther than their physical condition allows.

  • @viperdude281 I didnt read what the "ObesityMyth" dude said but you speak of the condition where the heart is too strong for the body and backfires, eventually killing the runner correct?????

If so can you email me info on this I need it desperatly, me and a friend were talking about it and knew very minimal about it...

    Thanks, Mark

  • @viperdude281 Read "Born to Run" for more information on this theory! :)

  • @viperdude281 thats not true. many runners who die of heart attacks have congential diseases and deformities in their valves

  • Respond to this video... this guy is the antithesis of a triathlete. and i say that as a huge compliment.

  • Comment removed

  • @viperdude281 i know you wrote your comment 7 months ago, however, i thought you and anyone else would be interested to know that studies on certain (African) tribes that still live similarly to our ancestors have learned that they will chase their prey until it runs out of energy and has to stop. these tribes do not try to run faster than their prey, they just keep chasing and gain and lose distance until it cannot go further.

  • Whats the name of this song? I can't find it anywhere....

  • @buder19

Hey, if you find out, please let me know... great track.

  • I have a question when i run my shins are in great pain, thats the only part of my leg that hurts. Are there any exercises or stretching to help the relieve the pain?

  • @MartinezCowboys1 Its shin splints or the start of them... try running on the forefoot more than your heel. That should get rid of the problem.

  • @cwhatch1 I'm a forefoot runner, and i never had this problem till i started to marathon .

  • @MartinezCowboys1 there are exorcise you can do. One is to walk on your heels to strengthen your shin muscles, it takes time thouge

  • @MartinezCowboys1 lay down and get someone to push down on your feet.. That use to help when I had shin splits

  • @randomguy0909 Thanks dude ill try that out!

  • So what ever happened to this movie?

  • le rap français?

  • jesus christ became a runner:)

  • @ALLIED7621 lol

  • @ALLIED7621 he wasn't planning on dieing this time

  • what is he doing to his shoes at the beginning?

  • @Cooliyocakes it looks like he is replacing the tongue of his shoes with the tongue from another pair.. im not sure though

  • I have to say this guy is probably one of the best runners in the world and he does it part time, the guy is a uni student. So inspirational,

  • anyone know the song? good tune

  • agreed, loads easier to run in those shorts, than a big baggy pair!

  • Comment removed

  • @mesteviet that guys a fucking beast, he can where whatever the hell he likes

  • Is this in Colorado?

  • why did he cut the shoes

  • @coldbalistic because the chunky heel makes it harder for the foot to strike the ground in the right place, midfoot.

  • I've never tried trail running. I would love to do so! My parents just bought a cabin in a wooded area, so perhaps I will do it this spring.

I've always run on a treadmill or at a track, so running up a mountain or along a tortuous trail would surly be a nice change. It would give me a chance to commune with nature, as well as take in some amazing scenery.

  • @sdnm86 lucky you, i really wanna try trail running lol, only run on track and treadmill as well for me

  • @sdnm86 Trail/mountain running is unlike anything else.. go for it!

  • What state is this in? If it is in USA.....or where is thie beautiful place?

  • youtube.com/user/McAlisterMom

The Great Race! There is always a first!

  • what is the title and artist of this french song? thanks for advising.

  • I got tired watching this
