you can put three video cards in it to do graphical rendering and the fourth is for PhysX. The fourth card isn't the same as your others (unless you want it to be) but it does not get the SLI cable on it.. it is like an independent card and does no graphical rendering. Many people use 9800gt's for that since they're single slot.

You're not getting it. The 9800GT isn't doing ANY graphcal rendering of images. It isn't involved in an SLI configuration. You would allocate the GPU for PhyX calculations which takes a small load off the GPU's in SLI. Look up PhyX to know more and you'll understand.
