  • But it was smooth.. veery nice! not quite usual for RYR :D

  • why is everyone saying its a bad landing runway 28 has a localiser so the plane is coming in on the ils,its the same for every plane landing.

  • the pilot was probably gonna be charged extra if he landed slowly!

  • 737-700 look it got brows the 800 has no brows

  • @GOLD1702 RYR has nothing but the -800, so no matter what you have seen, it IS an B738!!

  • In Peru do not investigate anything about the kidnapping, prosecutors are not investigating anything or police against of stadium facilities Amauta much Calle 8 S Campoy Mz 3 second stage lotizacion San Juan de Lurigancho all medical records are criminals like Peter in your home, property protected in the public records of the electronic n: 11373891 10.642.50m2 Conopuma Genebroso Victor

  • Ahhh 240p, we meet again.

  • Flown at least 100 times with Ryan Air and have had very few problems ,people moan about extra charges but still press the confirm button that they have read and understand the terms and conditions. If you are in breach of simple conditions why blame the Airline for their own stupidity

  • And people say Ryanair pilots are the worst. This is just proof of the opposite!

    Well done! Dublin airport

  • @cookiemonster0626 they not the worst some of them r really bad not all all of them about 20% of ryanair pilots r bad that aint alot :/

  • I flew with Ryanair for the first time this weekend... flight to Manchester was OK, but the flight back to Dublin... FUCKING AWFUL! There was non-stop problems from the get-go. And when they hit the runway on landing... JESUS CHRIST! The impact! I actually thought the plane was going to crash. No joke. Never again am I flying with Ryanair.

  • I also give the losers next to the runway taking pictures or videos in this case the FINGER!!!

  • realy good piolit i cant even get close to that my record of best landing is a little bit of smoke

  • chuck norris was flying that plane

  • it looks fast cause the camera quality is crap..it is missing frames so the picture is jumping making it look like its faster than it really is

  • i think pilots had to pay for oxygen consumption so they had to be quick..

  • Don't Ryanair have the fastest airline landing speed??

  • too fast !!!!

  • Yes, it will look fast because you bug + 15kts on the ref speed and also they may have been at a heavy landing weight which also means they are going to be faster. On top of all that the procedure on the 800 is to land flaps 30 in those conditions. Hope that helps.

  • the pilots have to land faster than usual because of the turbulances

  • Ryanair like coming in fast dont they the Pilots are like " Fuck that paddy get this thing on the ground as fast as possible im scared of heights for fuck sake"

  • the pilot must of needed the toilet thats why he landed quick bahahahhaa

  • wow they landed :O:O:O

  • full throttle landing!!

  • I guess it's a relief that they CAN do crosswind landings..

  • woooow that was a freakin fast landing

    damn

  • very very nice landing

  • Arcraft always land at a higher speed during crosswinds to make sure the aircraft has enough speed to fight againnst the crosswind and is at a high enough speed to commence a go around safely

  • @ryanair737400 and also incase of wind shear , change in wind direction or a sudden drop of wind.

  • @appleglory yeah basicly when a go around is needed ;)

  • w Dublinie tak przeważnie rzuca

  • you dumb people :D the landing looks fast because the man filmed it from the side and not from the front :D

  • wow, a bit too fast!

  • that was definitely speeded up footage...come on now!?

  • wow....comin in quick...needs to unload, load and then fly in like er...ten minutes...

  • Why is the video speeded up?

  • The problem is that the airplane is began to rock because of strong gusts of wind.

  • Watch and comment my Aircraft videos!

    And don't forget to subscribe! (;

  • Cool video. Rainy day!!

  • i cant wait until ryanair goes RyanAtlantic....they have ordered the A350 and 787's...but the B787 is out of stock for production until 2012 or 2011 and A350 is not in service until 2013...come on i want beds and blow jobs going to USA then live the American Dream!!

  • quiet fast...or?

  • I'm guessing heavy aircraft and variable direction strong cross wind. Need to keep the speed up for those bad boys!

  • I must be missing something. What's special about this? It was obviously a windy day, the plane lands safely and ......???

  • who said it's special??

  • I don't understand the pointof your comment.

  • ...... that really wasn't funny......

  • Take Ur Foot Of The Pedle Man :L

  • THe Fastest Landing Ever I saw :?

  • @ryanair1313 you cant see how fast its going man its impossible the video may look fast he could be going to slow or he is just right.

  • @ryanair1313are u serious yo ushould know yo umakes lots of videos and spot lots of aircraft , aircraft always land at a higgher speed with a heavy crosswind due to safety so the aircraft is able to commence a go around if one is needed

  • @ryanair1313 yeah i too

    to fast i think

what should i say ryanair is for an ass

  • @ryanair1313 ITS WINDY YOU SPASTICATED FUCK

  • Anyone thought maybe the fuel had runout and it was a case of get down or else. Apparently there was a bloke who started an anti ryanair website and so they put a team of private investigators on to follow him absolutely everywhere he went. scary if you ask me.

  • that is a scary experiance

  • Is it me or was the plane going fast?

  • You should always go into a crosswind with speed, or it controls you :)

  • Hey mate nice to meet ya under ryanair video :) ;)

  • troppo veloce!!!!!!run run o yesssssss

  • why is everyone so obsessed with flaps etc.

  • Now on the flap load relief.....rubbish mate. It is recommended to use f30 in gusting conditions fact. Allow me to present the figures to you. Difference in Vref30 and 40 is 7kt....yes ;). With 40, flaps WILL retract at 163kt to flap 30. With 30, the flaps will retract at 176 kt to 25. EG vref 30 150kt.....vref40 143kt....as per above figures 163-143=20kt margin whereas 176-150=26kt margin. So with 30 you have a bigger margin and i guess this is the reason BOEING recommend 30 in gusting wind

  • Dutch 2505, on your first point yes.. what i described was how we calculate x-wind component when here of course we are discussing calculation off app speed vfly. My bad!! However we are only allowed add on to a max 15kt not 20kt, disagree if you like but this is our SOP.

  • ANDYFTE66

Your story on the landing with flaps 30 I also dont understand. In gusty weather its ok to choose both flaps 30 or flaps 40.

And as a pilot ;) you should know that if you select flaps 40 instead of 30 your vref is lower then when you land with flaps 30.

So with either landing flap the margin to to the flap load relief would be the same.

So what are you talking about!

  • ANDYFTE66

Yeah this so called pilot wants to question you.

Very nice presentation of the wind correction. But If you really fly boeings you know this is not the correct wind correction!!!!!!!!!! You say that with a gust you just ad half the headwind ? Wonder what airline you fly with?

Or did you mean the normal wind correction should be half the headwind correction + the full gust increment with a max of 20knts ? sound better doesnt it ?

  • what a skills !!!! :P

  • fastest landing iv ever seen :D

  • is half headwind component added on to vref up to a maximum of 15kt. in gusty condition flap 30 used because of the lower limit speed of flap 40 which if exceed cause the flaps to auto retract (this would result in a go around).Lets say vref in this case was 145kt(not unusual at all for f30 with our typical weights) wind gusting to 35kt 30 degrees off runway would make it 145+15=vfly160.Any of the so call pilots here that disagree with me present facts for a change and stop this oh too fast bull

  • the must pull up rule is gonna kill us one day. love . . . . anon.

  • cat10980 is right to a certain extent, yes OFDM is there monitoring an ever increasing amount of parameters all the time. Fact: vref (velocity reference) is just that, a reference speed for a certain flap configuration.Normal flap configuration is either 30 or 40 and the difference in these two seeds is in the order of 7kt. However it is just a reference speed and needs to be corrected for the wind on the ground. Minimum seed we may fly on approach is vref+5. How we calculate the correction

  • and i was the one flying that 737-800

  • thats too fucking fast

  • Great airline ! Always ontime !!!

  • Yep-OFDM will grass you up like a shot if you are too fast, too slow, rate of descent too high anything out of limits at all. Vref Speed also depends on the wind-with various amounts being added on or taken off depending on the wind direction/speeds.

  • It amazes me that the experts in aviation are always the people that don't have pilot licences this is obvious from the stupid "too fast" nonsense on here. I fly for RYR and we have installed whats called OFDM (operational flight data monitoring) lots of airlines don't. Every ryr pilot will fly between REF and the bug speed whatever that may be depending on conditions. If we fail to OFDM will flag it up and you will recieve a letter.i can assure u this a/c was flying the correct calculated speed.

  • Not too fast.

  • OMG that plane is landing TOOOOOOOO fast!

  • To be quite honest, I believe its the low fps of the video that gives the impression that the aircraft is moving quite fast.

  • too fast

  • ok... what is Ryanair and why are there so many videos on it???

  • wow super fast lol

  • Think she came in pretty fast.

  • im not flying with ryan air now theres to many incidences

  • Just don't fly Ryanair...

  • Yes. Just don't. I second that advice. Save up and fly with a proper airline like Aer Lingus or even EasyJet. Ryanair are rotten to their staff, rotten to their customers and rotten to the core.

  • Rotten to their staff ?? Ive started working for ryanair and its the best job i had they arent rotten at all. I clear £1000 a week after tax and average 17 hours a week. Plus its a relativley easy job and i enjoy doing it. If you dont like ryanir dont fly with them. Im sure most ryanir staff would agree with me

  • Ya Mate I Have To Agree Working For Them Is The Best Job In Ireland

  • i have no experience in flying whatsoever and that looked like it was going way to fast

  • Good vid, looks like a great place to film from. I love watching crosswind landings, they're always intresting!

  • I don't think you are an ex-Ryanair pilot serifovicrules, you say "we have been told always keep speed up around 155 IAS".... rubbish, you say always and around above, these words would never be associated with an important speed like VREF. VREF or VAT are calculated for every approach speed based on mainly, but not only on weight and configuration. This aircraft might have landed with 30 deg of flap instead of 40, and carrying an extra 5-10kt gust factor will increase VREF for certain.Normal

  • Very fast!!

  • men .... this bird go fast !!!

  • quite bumpy in terms of wind, would have been fun on board :)

  • OMG faaassstt

  • Like RYR738 said, the 737 needs more speed on landing. But the video looked like he landed too fast. Im an ex-pilot for Ryanair and we have been told to always keep speed up to around 155 IAS. If you go over that, you need to reject the landing. He was going around 160 IAS. Im now going to be a pilot on the A380 for Emrates!

  • What a nonsense! You an ex-pilot for Ryan ?Dont believe a word of it.

Approach speed depends totally on weight and flap setting!. Its impossible to say the speed should be 155knots! cause it varies every flight!. if you are really a pilot you should not say such stupid things!.

  • He did say he was a *RyanAir* pilot ;-) Judging by the terrible landings they normally do, this could be the problem!

  • lol bollocks, Ryanair 737's to A380 HA.. what a moron... do you feel good about making such absurd lies up? trying to make yourself feel good :/

  • very believable....having no airbus flight time only boeing 737's....on to the a380...i dont think your an ex pilot with ryanair dont even think you were a pilot

  • well good luck because you can't even spell the airline you'll be flying with lol

  • video was sped up?

  • No, He was coming in on correct speed. Firstly B738 has a higher landing speed than some bigger aircraft including 747. In strong wind conditions it is Boeing rule to add up to 15kts to landing speed. better control and if its gusty the instant loss of wind (gust) will instantly affect your airspeed. So if you flew normal approach speed and it gusts you could potentially stall. You therefore fly up to 15kts faster (dependent on wind) and reduce this off in last few feet. All Airlines do

  • too fast, no?

  • geez can you go a little faster.

i think we where going just a tad to slow!

  • holy shit! That is the fastest landing I ever have seen before

  • OMW HOW FAST!?1

  • omg a bit fast hahah extre<mlyyyyyy fast

  • nice ^^

  • he was coming in quite fast wasnt he?

  • Seems a little fast to me but nothing wrong the the angle a thought.

  • Good Ryainair pilots there

  • Mhmm. I've lived in Dublin for a year and this landing seems pretty normal to me. Most of the planes came in in that particular ankle. PS: The worst scenario was when the landing was aborted and you had to land in Shannon. Brrrr.

  • Where are you based now then? F/D or Cabin?

  • i agree he seemed a tad fast (more that he seemed high and dove for the runway), but i thought a few extra knots safety factor is normal in gusty conditions? It is standard for the little airplanes (pa28,c152) I get around in to add some airspeed on approach if the conditions are gusty.

  • You are absolutely right, just few extra knots gives much better control during conditions like that..Im also used that during my training last month ( PPL/A ) - Piper PA-28 Archer.

  • Yeah theres no way that plane is going at the speed, just crap camera.

  • The aircraft is facing the camera for the first 10seconds. The camera is not on the runway therefore indicating a crosswind is present.

  • it´s a rocket!!!!!!!!!

  • The plane is too fast and there's no crosswind...

  • Is it just me who realises the plane only seems to go fast because of the poor quality of the film?

  • OMG that is so fast!!!!!

  • he was goign waaay too fast

  • And just how do you feel qualified to comment?

  • well considering i piloted a 737 for 3 years im just saying that he was going a bit too fast for a heav crosswind landing

  • ROFL yeah.. very technical term for a 737 type rated pilot eh.. why do people lie on here. its really pathetic!

  • im not actualy lying

  • he was going a BIT fast , jaysus ''spitfir3ace'' & ''flaretoohigh'' take a chill pill . in other words , grow up . whats even more pathetic is the ppl who get insulted by every fucking comment

  • wtf, that's some good piloting skill !

  • now thats skill!!!!!!

  • Another great vid!

  • Good pilots.

  • Hey nice vid. You got any go-arounds?

  • it was in Dublin

  • Where is this?

  • it was in dublin ireland

  • it was in dublin... it says in the discriptiojn and the tag...

  • wow
