Well for the OCG version of "Soul of the Pure", the name translates to something like "Angel's life blood" roughly, so I believe its more stating that the angel is giving you a bit of its blood to heal you. Which is to say the blood itself has healing properties.

A lot of the Artwork Flaws and Changes, even though you may not think so, has to do with the Culture of the country it's in. Not only names like "dark" and "black" being different, but what the person in the card may be wearing or stance, even the makeup on it. It's really interesting

In the Japanese version the idea is that you gain power from the lifeblood of an angel. The effect says: "ライフポイントを800ポイント回復する。" Which means: "Increase your Life Points by 800 points.

The english versions are so much pussier :(. I played OCG in Hong Kong, and one thing I noticed was that the TCG censor the cross a lot. Like premature burial in TCG is a tombstone, but in TCG it's a tombstone shaped like a cross. Same with Injection Fairy Lily, in the TCG there's hearts in the background but in the OCG, it's crosses. Monster reborn too. Konami must be really worried about the Christians.

Which is correct since the theme of Yugioh is based on anicent Egyptian mythos and beliefs. For Dian Keto the use of the Ankh is very correct as this spell card gives an additional 1,000 life points to the player. You're right that there are mystic symbolism in the cards (some are satanic) but the Ankh is not one of them.

In tournaments its pretty funny seeing people use Destiny Board decks because they dont understand you have to have the cards in order or it doesnt work. So if it spells FAILN, NAILF, or anything other than FINAL it is negated and you dont get the effect.

Naturally there were some more perverse ones, but then it ultimately came down to Religion. The cards seemed highly religious on their own, and I'm sure America didn't want to promote that since that would naturally cause controversy. Not to mention loss of sales
