I fully support the Royal British Legion for the brilliant work they have done,my great grandad died of wounds from WW1. My grandad was in WW2 and I miss him every single day. My bf's friend was killed in Afghanistan and everyone that knew him was proud of him! RIP fallen heros...I wear my poppy with pride every single year!
when i was two my mom got the call that my older brother who was nine-teen at the been kib (kill in battle) i never got a chance to get to know him but i know he loved me
Very emotional song a swift reminder that one day there maybe peace and we get to keep our loved ones without loss or heartache. RIP to the men and women who bravely serve to protect us ( or should I say attack countries for oil and minerals) ( no blame placed on the forces) which wouldn't of happened on Churchill's watch he was a true leader shame we have disgraced the men and women who fought in the world wars to give us freedom which is now a shadow of the past.
I missed this when it first came out, very moving and well sung song that is for all who have died for their country in all wars and conflicts. since WW2 only one year has passed when a British Service men or women HAS NOT died in action. Sober thought...............
This is wonderful that celebrities will remember each and every soldier that has been injured and killed in Afganistan. Who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. We Will Remember Them!
* In tears again at this song *I brought the CD and downloaded this song I added it to my facebook account and spammed it for ppl to buy. I'm so glad help for heroes was founded and men/women in the forces get the help now they deserve as our own government and Queen haven't done one thing to aid them after coming home injured or totally broken from what they have been through. My birthday is 11/11 and every year I remember them x
This is probably the most inspirational song i've ever heard! Just like our heroes out fighting for our country. RIP to those men and women who never made it home =(
this has encouraged me to join this noble and faithful army and serve for my country which i love so much. thank you for giving me th courage to join in two years time and serve for this loving country as i am only 14 i have to wait 2 years.
Godbless all the unlucky ones who never made it back to their loving familes and good luck to the ones who are still out there.
i know we wear poppies to remember the fallen ones but why can we only have 1 day? im glad people have made this song it shows people do actually care about us troops R.I.P comrads
WOW!!!!!! this is the first time iv heard this song and it made the hair all over my body stand on end!!!! God look after all thoose who have had their lives taken away from them, WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THEM!!!! REST IN PREACE XXXX
No offence intended to koreandramaz. The poppies are worn to commemorate the end of The Great War (World War 1) which ended at 11am on 11th November 1918. It's known as Armistice Day. We should NEVER forget all the brave men & women who gave their lives in the service of their country.
Poppies are worn to commemorate EVERY fallen British and Commonwealth soldier , the poppy was just a symbol found on Flanders fields when after years of war on a battered landscape the first plant to grow was the poppy hence its association , ALL poppies are made by EX members of the British and Commonwealth armies
just to let you no the poppies is the chosen flower because they were the only ones that could live in the upturned soil from the great war and we have the day of rememberance to remember everyone that has fallen during and after the great war :) and thankyou :) we will never forget as iv seen how it affects people :)
On Sunday 1st November the recording of 'We Will Remember Them' took place at Abbey Road Studios with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Pipes & Drums from the Scottish Regiments. Artists include Michael Bolton, Robin Gibb, Paul Rodgers, Paul Carrack, Hayley Westenra, Mica Paris, Lee Mead, Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton, Kenney Jones, Mark Read, Carol Decker, Sam Brown, Nell Bryden and The Carmel Thomas Youth Choir.
Jim Cregan produced, and Cliff Masterson conducted the RPO
Remember the soldiers who died in the for Britain in the world wars and the recent wars! that's why they're wearing the poppies-it's for Remembrance Sunday! 11/11 every year! (when WW2 ended)

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Most things are only dedicated to one day a year.
That one day is where we honour their sacrifices on a national scale.
Butby using our minds we remember them for every day of the year.
