@leppaberry The amazing thing is that it WAS a decent game. The original version on the Amiga was, if not actually good, then at least much better than this heap o' crap -- the enemies only approached from one side, the rising spikes were telegraphed better, the barbarian hero didn't walk like he was recovering from hip replacement surgery, etc.

I bought this game when I was a child, damnit! it was terribly awful... Anyway, 2 hints:

1.- If you pause the game you will be able to use the potions. If u combine them, some *cool* effects can be given p.e: purple+red= extra life; orange+purple = flaming sword. There was invulnerability too I think...

2.- If u press "up" when swinging your sword, u will make a vertical short-range attack that will hit the giants and the... "birds"...

i played this one, and this awful game makes me cry, no music andcrappy sounds effects the only 2 good things of this game are:

1. The balls stab

2. The enemy scream (specially the axedudes when you hit them)

Heh, one of the first games published by EA, nowadays most of their actual games sucks as well.

Also, would you redo your old Zero Wing entry? It should go under Average Games, since there are certain flaws in this game, and I'm not talking about that overused intro, but other things hated by most people, like the weapon system and the hard to control shield. Other things are OK.

@CrashManEXE You have to use the potions you collected in the game. Just pause and click on the potion that give you invisibility (I think it's the Blue or purple potion) and use them to kill the armored giants. :D

i cannot recall, myself, i think it might be the start button but mess around with the controller, whats the worse that could happen, also you video freezes i am not sure when, but i had to skip forward to get it to play further...

Those noises the enemies make when they get hit and die are very annoying. At the end, how are you supposed to fight two huge giants at the same time while your energy is being sucked by some strange bug, talk about unfair advantage.
