The constitution does not enumerate ALL of people's rights- only a few. But it does enumerate ALL the govt rights as well as establish the govt's jurisidiction & purpose- which was to 'protect the rights of the people'.

It's a funny thing, America. In some strange irony of fate, our elected leaders are inept at representation of the people's will, and abilities. As in Vietnam, in Iraq and Afghanistan the results would be far different if we were simply let off of our chain.
If our leaders knew how to run a country, OR fight a war, we would be viewed much differently. Unfortunately, they know neither. One day there will be fighting here, and you will see a different America than you presume.
