  • The guy on the left is road manager Jimmi Seiter, drummer unknown. The clip was recorded late '67 (probably October, when Gene Clark was filling in for the departed Crosby, the same month the band appeared on The Smothers Brothers show).

  • Where's the Hillman meister!

  • that is not the original Byrds.

  • I'd love to see this in the original color instead of this fuzzy black-and-white kinescope. Groovy, baby!

  • Many! The groovy camera effects! Especially the way the patterns change on the chicks' dresses! Far out! Etc etc etc.

Don't The Byrds look as if they wish they were somewhere else, like Neptune?

  • roger, gene and who the hell are those other two guys?

  • I'm afraid I don't know much about The Byrds, but the film credits them as The Byrds with Gene Clark - hope that helps!

  • Looks like David Crosby far right and that nameless drummer they used before/between Mike Clark.

  • That's David Crosby in the white suit. Looking a bit "chipper". Also, I would guess this to be more 1967 than 1968, no?

  • Wow, what a trip. Thanks for posting this rare treat.
