@SillyInfantry I just think its funny at what people have to say. If you really think about it, it's really not their fault. It's the lack of knowledge and or ignorance and yes we do alot of things that only less than 1% of our country men/women are willing to do. Thanks for your support.
Marines are my heros i went all the way from jersey to see them! So cool.
I have a video from a similar event in Clover Lake Park (non helmet cam) Search "Marine Helicopter Raid Demonstration" under the channel TheZimmermann97 to see it
P.S. it might be under a different name but its also on my channel
I KNOW THEY USE CORPSMAN and not Medics. I am sorry for my mistake. I realized it after i posted it. My grandfather was a Marine in WWII. I know that the army uses medics. He was wearing the corpsman badge on his uniform. He told everyone that he was basically a medic.
@Dumpes If he was wearing a Corpsman badge then he wasn't a Marine, he was a Sailor. Of course, FMF Corpsman are accepted as Marines, hence the nickname "Devil Doc" as opposed to "Devil Dog." A Corpsman and an Army Medic are field medical personnel which are in essence the same job, yes.
That was some crazy rushin' whatever happened to "I'm Up, (s-run/zig-zag once), They see me, I'm down (hittin the deck HARD and fast without eating the front sight post) ... HAHA..
I have a video from a similar event in Clover Lake Park (non helmet cam) Search "Marine Helicopter Raid Demonstration" under the channel TheZimmermann97 to see it

i cant wait to be a Marine. i dont care what job i have in the Corps, i just want a title as a U.S Marine! its been a dream of mine since third grade. i just keep counting down the years. Semper Fi!
@unmotomarine0351 Oh you're right, because they didn't deploy four and five times must mean they haven't seen enough of the Hell that no one should see at all. It isn't about quantity in my opinion. Anyone who goes overseas and is in direct action does plenty more than any human being ever should, period. It shouldn't be some testosterone contest of who saw more action, once is too much as it is.
@unmotomarine0351 Hmm I couldn't find any reports of their time in Afghanistan, not to say it isn't true, I just can't find it. And just because the province was turned over and certainly wasn't as hostile as it once was still doesn't mean they were in danger and didn't encounter some heavy situations, that entire theater of operations has plenty to go around for the men and women over there, shouldn't matter whether it's a hotzone or not. They went over there, did their job, that's what counts.
Uh ok, well lets see, I had friends in 2/9 in a-stan, and my old unit replaced them, so its true. You can look on icasualties for the 2/9 Marines who didnt make it back.
@unmotomarine0351 Oh I believe you I just couldn't find it, but I definitely take your word that they were in Afghanistan, I know most of the Helmand is occupied by the Marines at this time. I actually check icasualties pretty often. Really is a shame, all those names. A friend of mine's brother is on there. He was with 3/5 and got it in Fallujah.
@unmotomarine0351 Fair enough. They must have gotten back within the last year or two at most I'd guess if that's the case. I'm shaping up for the Navy myself, hopefully to become a Corpsman and eventually make an attempt for FMF.
dude V-22s are the shittiest thing to be around on the ground. imagine sticking your face in the back of a jet engine. uggggh. they are fun to fly in tho :-D
@unmotomarine0351 I never claimed to have done that. I've only ever landed from a helo to cover grunts doing so, as my job in the Marine Corps is to document such processes. Note the production notes of this video — I'm one of the guys who made it.
well then you were way off base with your "sorry its not call of duty" comment. you said that to a Marine commenting on the way they were conducting the "raid".
@unmotomarine0351 I don't take failure for an answer, when i say I WILL BE. i mean it. and i wont deal with being a grunt either. RECON/MARSOC/TIER 1. I will not let my brothers down, and i won't let anyone quit either, I know much about the marines and what to do. so don't think i am so teenage boy who thinks it's all easy and crap, or that you just get it. People who don't want it fail, people with no determination fail. but i will not. NOVEMBERBATTERY does not make shit of sense.
He doesnt make sense to you because you arent a Marine. You dont know what a gaggle fuck is, and you dont know what buddy rushes are. He makes perfect sense to me.
@MonthuRa As a former Recon Marine I can't wait to see you fail. You sound like an ignorant little bastard who thinks he knows everything about everything. In reality you have no clue and you will be an epic fail in the reconnaissance community. Good day to you, have fun in a line company, better yet they will probably make you the S1 mail clerk!
@ReconBaby sure bro. I don't know everything, but i sure as hell am willing to learn everything. In reality, i do my best to know much about everything, whether it's small info on some areas or big info on major areas. you think i don't know what they do in RECON? you think i don't know what hell it is training for it? or what training while in it is like? oh i know it's hard as fuck, but i won't let that scare me off. I am not going there to show off or to be cool i am joining to defend my home
I WAS THERE!!!! IT WAS SO EPIC. Seeing the V-22's land escorted by 2 AH-1 Cobra's was so badass. I met all of these marines. I am pretty sure the medic had the helmet cam because i asked him why he had a camera on his helmet

They saw their fair share in a-stan, not in ramadi. They were there in 08-09, after the anbar provincial turnover. Cake.
