  • there are 300 million or so people in the US. lets say only 1/3 (100 million) are of working age and imagine that unemployment is at just 8%... that's 8 MILLION people out of work. putting 20,000 people back to work - many "temporarily" - to build and maintain this pipeline isn't going to make a dent in unemployment, drive down the cost of fuel in the US or cut taxes to the low and middle class. it does however provide a vehicle for grabbing land for building that NAFTA superhighway. JMO

  • Rand is not as nearly as cute as his father.

  • Wow the guy makes one mistake and everyone is ready to crucify him. Dont forget he publicly criticized NDAA, two assassinations of US citizens by obama, obamacare and the PATRIOT ACT. He is against all EPA regulations that are crippling the Heartland. He is pro guns, pro constitution and pro FREEDOM. And that is just to name a few. If people want to talk smack they should focus their attention to the 80 some odd members of congress who just voted for indefinite detention of US citizens.

  • Hmm... I never did like Rand, I've supported Ron Paul since 2007 tho...

    RON PAUL 2012!!

  • True.Maybe people would be scared away from the idea, but it truly is the solution. I don't want to see him hurt his campaign by discussing controversial issues such as 911 being an inside job. He takes so much crap already and always handles himself well. Tapping oil in the u.s. is not the environmentally friendly thing to do nor is running a pipeline. We desperately need to lessen our dependency on this non renewable resource. We could also take the ball out of the court of the 1%ers

  • @yuzurname Oil is renewable...when we have a massive die off of the human species like David Rockefeller would like and has been clamoring for.and we are dumb enough to allow it to happen.

  • @digitalbullshit No dude. They fear a free market which is why they give him 0 money in contributions. They LOBBY their way to write these "regulations" which destroys competition between smaller businesses and bigger businesses. This is the main reason why these companies are marginalizing him in the media(5 corporations control 90% of what you watch on tv).

  • I am aware that he is a libertarian and not opposed to the legalization of hemp, but there is zero talk about it. It's about time somebody brings it up. It just kills too many birds with one stone to ignore because the American people are " not ready" aka ignorant.

  • @yuzurname I expect Ron Paul to do a lot about that issue when he comes into office and he does not deny his opinion. I just saw him spontaneously point out that hemp might be a better supply of ethanol than corn. But starting to talk about it a lot will only scare a lot of uninformed people away from liberty. Besides, it is not the most important issue when the world is collapsing.

  • @yuzurname Canadians are profiting off of hemp Americans are to dumb and paranoid as a whole to realize it

  • @digitalbullshit The government dosen't create jobs out of thin air. Small businesses are what made this country flourish which they grew. You need to realize that some of these regulations are hurting the smaller businesses. Google "peter schiff congressional hearing". He wanted to hire more people but was unable because of the regulations in place that stopped him from doing so. You have no idea how a free market works because you have been brainwashed with controlled markets.

  • Aqua Buddha is a child molester.

  • Rand Paul was 1 of 3 out of 100 people to vote against the NDAA US citizen imprisonment bill. Even though he's a tea bagger, he cares about freedom at least.

  • ~~> If the pipeline is about jobs put it in a jobs bill not a tax bill you tard... Why are you adding it if you think it will pass by itself?? This is BS for more black gold...

  • Charging millionaires more for medicare is not means testing. Means testing is determining whether or not wealthy people should received medicare benefits. This lady does not know what she is talking about.

  • @digitalbullshit Wrong again digishit. Rand Paul says retarded shit sometimes like on here. He's got a significant amount of differences from his father. For one thing Rand Paul plays politics while Ron Paul stands by his beliefs

  • I don't mind as long as he's not bought.

  • Strike 2 for your Rand. You better start learning from your father or you'll never see D.C. again.

  • That god damn pipeline provides oil that is even more horrific for the environment than the already shitty stuff we are rapidly running out of. It's just kicking the can down the road, we need to get serious about green energy, not ethanol or any of that shit but actual green energy. It is also deceptive because that oil is not going to be required to be sold domestically, it can get shipped all the way to a port to be sold on the world market. We should be ashamed, the Chinese are greener now.

  • You can pay your rent by pimpin' out mom; it doesn't mean you should.

  • remember the tax code doesn't change... so let these tax cuts expire, learn how to work the system and still pay no taxes--just like the 1% percent does... save your receipts people! get yourself a business name, it's all good. let's just focus on getting these fools out of office and keep it movin'

  • I'm gonna give props to Burnett on this one

  • Keystone is so energy intensive and bitumen is so costly (especially with water) to process, it goes against its own purpose of energy supply. Its 'unscientific'.

  • I can't stand this dumb bitch Erin Brunet!

  • You morons dont want wars for oil, but you refuse to tap a freaking pill of goo that is fucking uselss at this point!

  • these comments are just about what I'd expect from mox's subscribers. YOUR LIVES DEPEND UPON OIL YOU CRETINS

  • @natritious1 Your opinion is very important, please work your ass off to ensure we see your comment at least 4 per page. You are just that important in youtube, particular for us "mox subscribers"

  • Fuck a pipeline. Legalize hemp and create MILLIONS of jobs plus clean energy.

  • @yuzurname The guy is a libertarian, so I don't know why you'd imply that he's against the legalization of hemp. Keep your nose to the grindstone, the American people are nowhere near being ready for something so monumental. A pipeline would be practical. we are dependent on oil for survival right now, so unless you like wars for other people's resources, I suggest we put those resources to practical use! Its a friggin pile of goo. lets use it already

  • I'm glad i don't care to vote any moreits just clowns vs the fools and they still have to rig the counts . We the people don't matter much here anymore . great funding comes from great companies , Rand and Obama are just puppets to the real power . BP Monsanto and bill gates .

  • rand believes pipeline will create 20,000 jobs, when their own studies show it will create less than 3000? not to mention yet another grave danger to our quickly eroding environment

  • Maybe someone should send some satellite pics of the Tar Sands to Rand and explain to him how much fresh water is contaminated in the process.

We don't want TarSand oil and we don't want assholes leaking that shit all over the midwest just so some dickwads can get richer.

  • Fuck Rand Paul!

  • I don't mind oil sand refining and pipe line, I just want to know why it needs to be piped to Texas?

  • I don't understand Rand

  • All eco-queers and Occupussies should be lined up in front a wall and shot.

  • So the rich pay would pay $9.2 billion and the Middle class would pay $38 billion. Looks to me like the middle class gets fucked again. Also I would like to point out that the Non-Partisan Tax Policy Center is PARTISAN. It's another conservative think tank supported by billionaires like the Koch Brothers. This is a crappy compromise.

  • Lets see if the "Drill baby, drill" slogan Fox News speaks of actually works.

  • Rand has that crazy hair, you know he's right

  • @zwiiyt he actually did not vote on this maybe because he is in iowa and didn't have time. And it's the environmentalists who are against this. "Let's save the environment and kill jerbs yaya!"

  • there is nothing wrong with this. build the goddamn thing and have jobs fuck off environmentalist wackos.

  • @sharinganclan213 You are right, of course. We really don't need the biggest fresh water aquifer in American that supports about a third of the USA. Whatever we do, we want to handle this in the dumbest way possible. Fuck the wacko environmentalist. Let's poison that damned aquifer. We can always buy fresh water from the Russians or somebody.

  • People make mistakes. You guys are jumping on him as if he voted for boiling children lol.

  • @brooklynzoo81You mean he didn't vote for boiling children? But Gingrich wants to make poor children clean toilets (certainly not rich kids). That would help build their characters don't cha know, & then we could fire all those union janitors. If we could get rid of child labor laws and hire children at one quarter of what we pay adults, imagine how many adults we could fire. This one action would save corporations millions, but then who would have the money to buy their products and services?

  • Don't agree with Rand on this one, but at least we know he will continue to defend Americans civil liberties & save American lives by not profiting off of the WARS like other Neo-Cons & hypocritical Democrats in Congress...

  • Rand needs a haircut!

  • @thalonelygirl - How does a toupee grow?

  • Yes, let's sneak in a fucking environment destroyer to get a bill passed. I told you this guy was a sell-out prick months ago.

  • Rand, you are wrong on this one. The water shed in that area is too sensitive. Many states in that area depend on that clean water. Think BP and the gulf. Can't take that chance. Also stop drilling and mining. Hey the sun is free. Use the sun to irrigate crops. Use the crops for bio fuel. Use the bio fuel to power cars, houses, etc.... No black oil drilling..No polution. No Solindra. Otherwise Ron Paul for 2012 President.

  • let the tax cuts expire...cleaning up your oil spills is NOT my idea of job creation fools! THAT TAR SANDS OIL GOES TO CHINA!

  • Never compromise

  • I don't trust him

  • I don't think I agree with Rand on here...he should be more like his father

  • Rand is NOT Ron. Even Erin makes him look dumb in this vid.

    "Money/market" is ROOT of problems.

Automation & cheap labor = NO JOBS = No consumers = capitalism is over

    NOW we can:

    1. FREELY Share ALL resources & knowledge worldwide, NO more money/property

    2. Use LATEST technology to create an ABUNDANCE of all our needs, NO more waste/theft

    3. Automate/localize ALL production and distribution, NO more central control/wage slavery

    v=4Z9WVZddH9w

  • Title should be: Rand Paul explains why Rand Paul is no Ron Paul. Not even close.

  • I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Fuck the media. Fuck all government. Fuck you. Fuck me. Fuck it all. It's all corrupt. Humanity is a piece of shit that can't even acknowledge its own insignificance.

  • @Deathnotez123 Don't give up hope. That's precisely what they want. They want you to think that you're an animal unworthy of existence. Don't let the hero in your soul perish. The world you desire CAN BE WON.

  • @Deathnotez123 Why would you acknowledge your own insignifigance? What would the point be? You make no sense.

  • @Deathnotez123 You forgot it's cancerace behavior towards planet Earths echo system.......

  • fuck rand paul.AT WHAT COST RAND YOU FUCKING SELL OUT!

  • @ToeInspector at what cost?! What?! Do you LIKE wars for other people's resources that OUR LIVES DEPEND UPON?!
