I wonder if all the people concerned about "animal cruelty" are vegan yet. Educate yourselves about real animal abuse.. and quit complaining about a companion animal wearing shoes. Get over it. There are a lot of things dogs (or children, for that matter) might not *enjoy* but we have to do them. I suppose you think they shouldn't bathe Nash or take him to the vet if he doesn't like it?

Nash doesn't like extreme cold or hot temperatures, nor visiting the vet, but if he needs to go, we take him.

people have to realize that there are people that abuse animals for sport or for their amusement--protecting my dog from the weather is just being a caring dog owner.

The shoes and jacket are used to keep him warm when it became too cold for him outside. Dogs can get frost bite too....

the booties are made for dogs, and eventually it will wear down with time. So far, the nails have not made any holes in the shoes-the material seems to be pretty tough. In terms of how comfortable they are on Nash, it might not be too comfortable when first trying it out, but after a while Nash got use to it and did not even notice his booties-kind of like wearing glasses I guess.
