the actual gameplay (you piloting a fighter-jet, not telling your retarded wingmen etc to target a boggie they hardly ever manage to splash) haven't evolved worth shit since acecombat 4. It's cool that it's a actiongame rather then a simulator but the feel of the game is like flying in a void, your aircraft never experince the slightest turbulence or anything it just fly perfectly straight. The stiff perspectives further enhance this feeling of flying along an invisible rail.

Another bomb ground targets in a bland looking city, and yet another my wingman sucks and is peeing all over his pant shit. There are going to be really stupid story and chatters. Some guy calling you rookie and by mission three, you have three hundreds kill. Some kid will say this is the best AIDS Combat ever. It's so good, all BBQ kid will cum.

I played the demo to, gotta agree with the dude above me, except for the environment... something about the buildings just lacks detail, its better than the others but it still feels lacking in detail (even though I know if you are in a plane way up in the air, the ground is gonna be less detailed.)
there are reports which are probably right about a ps3 release so if u have one i wud wait. namco is imo just going multiplatform but it knows how many ps fans loved ace combat (original fanbase) so it will either release this ace combat on ps3 or the next one. Namco did the same thing with ridge racer 6
