  • That fish is nowhere near 8-9 pounds..lol It is only about 19-20 inches long. The fish is not even at the end of the yardstick with the tail and the lower jaw is near the 19.5 mark. So that fish would be about 19 1/4 inches or so. That fish would be under 4 pounds. Nice fish but not a 8-9 pounder..lol

  • sleveves and no mustard stains lol. nice fish man

  • Hey Bro, I have a house in Dixie shores on Badin Lake. I just wanna let you know that you have to be careful when eating the fish out of Badin because thanks to Alcoa (The owners of the dam), there are alot of toxins in the water that get into the fish. Right now the wildlife management company that helps manage the fish population says that it is extremely unhealthy to eat more then 1 fish every 2 weeks out of the lake.

  • Thanks! Yeah, the Badin Shores Marina houses some nice crappie, largemouth and catfish. It's late october now, we're getting stripers coming into the coves. I suggest silver/blue cleo's and Rebel T10 jumpin minnows (black or brown top, silver sides, white bottom). The action is getting pretty good! Thanks everyone!

  • caught him out of gar creek huh,you ever have any luck around the badin shores marina?i see lots of jug lines out ther but never have any luck myself.

  • lol nice catch my friend

  • That's a big bass. The biggest fish I've cought are catfish. My dad went trolling in Dixie Shores and cought about 5 10-15lb striper and a 26 lb. Catfish
