Fair comment, I must admit that I'd probably wait until the GK was back in his goal if I was refereeing. However, the advantage is suposed to be with the attacking team and I'd have a very difficult task selling the decision of disallowing the goal because it wasn't sporting. It's just a difficult situation, although it could've been prevented by the referee waiting a bit longer. Thankfully for him, the conceding team saw the funny side of it.

Of course, the goalie's team didn't help matters by all being in their half before the goalie made it back into goal

Normally there is no rule against it, but Mike Hanke (the player, who scores) didn't pass the ball to his teammate. When there is a kick-off you have to pass the ball once to another player in the ring in the middle of the field...that's the rule.

If he had done so it would be a correct goal, although the referee could have waited a bit. But it didn't matter at the end, Leverkusen (the red team) won, that's why they are able to laugh about the girl at the end.
