Taipei was an interesting place to visit, but the locals are not very friendly to asian-looking foreigners. I've gotten lots of dirty looks from the Starbux cashiers after ordering drinks with a funny Chinese accent (I am Vietnamese American but took a few Chinese lessons). My caucasian tourmates on the other hand were warmly welcomed. Would have told my other friends to visit if I hadn't gotten the cold shoulder from the locals. Sorry, Taipei two thumbs down for your manners.

When you say 'votes' do you mean 'views', because I don't see anywhere I can actually place a 'vote' ? I doubt the producers will be that interested, or in fact make their selection based on the volume of views a person has. As for the rating...doesn't mean a thing.

Thanks for agreeing with me. I hope that the right person gets the job. This is after all a job with huge career ramifications. It would suck if the winner were chosen based on how many votes they got on their video. And wouldn't you hate it if you had a good video but didn't vote yourself up. And they chose someone because they had a few thousand votes.

I agree, but I'm pretty sure they will be they judge through the videos :] just because a competitor have a lot of friends does not make them qualified to be a co-host of a TV show.
