You are wrong. Iran was a regional power under the Shah as well. Israel & Iran had very good relations under the shah. Today, Iran is tryiong to spread its brand of Shiisim in the middle east. I agree. I have met many Iranians here in England. They are (most of them) very hospitable. I liked the way they prepared rice, so I bought a ricecooker to make 'tahdigi' (I am not sure about spelling that). I would like to visit Iran one day and see some places, as Iran has rich history.

persian rise is called something similar 'polo' this word originates from the accient persian empire. When the islamic conquest of persia took place the people of persia 'the parsis' where forced to convert or die, so some flew to india, and so northern parts of india which was under persian rule during the rise of the persian empire has some of persias traditions and words left in it. conclusion palao= persian thing, don't take credit for other countries traditions ^^

You are wrong. Iran was a regional power under the Shah as well. Israel & Iran had very good relations under the shah. Today, Iran is tryiong to spread its brand of Shiisim in the middle east. The Arabs are more scared of Iran than the Israelis and there is more competition between Iranians and Arabs. The west will not allow Iran to spread its Islamist ideologywith out without Israel.

Iran IS the country that once was so great in ancient times. Iran WAS the country that was about to become one of the top world powers 30 years ago. Iran IS the country with some of the most enduring and patient people who have seen a bloody war and revolution and still live their lives every day to what they can and many of them (not saying ALL) make their own lives productive and meaningful. Iran IS the country that mothered you and your culture. I have been to Iran many times(see next post)

and admit I have only seen the good things, like my family friends or places like the Caspian Sea. I have not met the poverty stricken people etc. I plan on going there and exploring every tip of it that i can. But no matter what state Iran is in there is always smthng in it that keeps its people proud and alive and i really love my nation. It makes me sad to hear u say that u are not proud to be iranian and that iran is trash, you have your own opinion but watch what u say before telling us to

Iran is a magnificently rich civilization with a tradition of ensuring 'Freedom of Belief' for its citizens.
I do not want my country to suffer an attack either. I want my Iranian brothers and sisters to defend the rights of the minorities among them. Baha'is love Iran. It is a Holy spot for us.
