In arabia it gives not this prize sorrows..they pay only some cents for a litre oil..it's an interesting view of the situation.China grows very fast now and it needs much Oil for this.and america needs also much oil and not only for the economy, but also at to lead new wars against the rest of the world.
What there is really no need for is energy corporations at all. Communities could make ethanol from multiple plants, and with wind mills and solar energy we could be our own power plants, easily.
Duah, DUDs, 75% of the Planet is covered with water.... Darfur's Genocide, why is there an arms race ? Know you can grasp the reason for a push to attack Iran...Look at a map and see witch countries have divided up the Caspian Sea.
:O First post. I like Democracy now. Very informative. Although I'm not sure about what Indypendent said, everyday I see articles about "the need for more oil" and how China will need millions of barrels more in order to continue its development.. so I wouldn't say that say that demand has remained the same.
Re-listen...."Excess" Global capacity of 6 million barrels a day down to 1million in 3 years. Excess Global capacity droped at the same time there was drastic increase in Oil company profits.
Excess of demand...there for no need to keep building storage tanks/facilities.....and the USA Federal Reserve storage level has been lowered.
oil has been means to control the hoi pollio since the beginning of this century

There is ultimately no need for oil. It is all an illusion.
