I think the problem comes from the lack of name for this country... the United States of America. Think about it... there is no name... like France, or Spain, or Colombia, or Argentina... "United States of America" it has no proper name like the rest of the countries in the world... so that's why people call it America or call people from there Americans. The thing that annoys me is that they do not understand that America is a very big continent, containing many countries and many peoples.

Obama hasn't pulled the race card because he's one of the progressive, non-vengeful, nor lazy types of american citizens that don't complain about having the SAME OPPURTUNITIES EVERY OTHER PERSON HAS. im sick of the black bs misleading everyone. i know a hell of a lot more poor white people that black people... mainly because they don't rely on dealing drugs as a crutch to feed their kids and at the same time bs that it's holding them down. drugs give you more, not take away. noone forces it

What planet have you been living on? I have seen and heard Obama himself tell his followers that "they" will say "I look different from the other candidates, I don't look like the other Presidents on our currency, I have a funny name, oh and did I mention he is black?" Who are "they?" I would like to hear who on the right has played the race card. Just because Obama says "they" are saying it doesn't make it true. Can you give me some names?

Obama is just as white as he is black, raised white by white people, we could just as simply say he is white as blacks could claim him as black as he is 50/50. So technically he is neither a black man nor a white man but the phrase or term i believe we are looking for is, milato used in urban settings for blacks to differentiate and promote hatred towards children who are mixed.

Hmmm i mean in england, there are LOTS of mixed raced people its not odd, and neither do we just call them BLACK. im mixed raced [but of three races, including black] and Mainly look indian, but i dont call myself indian =]. Milato is a term used by blacks in America for mixed race children who are half white and half black. Black Americans use the term as a put down for children who are not fully Black/African American basically because they are light skinned they also refer to them as yellow children.

U stupid ! mulatto is not used in the USA, it's a spanish word that means "mule" and used to described biracial people indeed, but it was more used in the caribbeans (even in french that word still exists (mulatre)) "yellow children" ? you've got to be kidding me. here in the US, if you're biracial, you're colored, period! you're black !

I could have sworn when I fill out my application yesterday. I checked "biracial". So, if you're in the U.S., it doesn't mean you have to feel in black if you're mix. But, then it creates a whole lot of problems. Because not everyone's mix with black or white. And then we have to break everything down. If you look at Amerie, what do you see? If you look at Alicia Keys, what do you see? Americans are mix with a lot of shit anyways. We don't know, we don't care.

Nice try except that true African American ( that is those whom have both parents being black) tease and make fun of Milato children, calling them yellow as well as demeaning and making fun of them for not being truly colored ( or the phrase that my wife's family uses for our children, which is to simply say they call them mutts.) milato - 1 definition - A person that is half African American and half Caucasian. Used in Urban areas primarily.
