Does strog rail gun run out of bullets/ammo ?? and why when you zoom with railgun it dosnt have Cross Hairs to aim with ?

It runs on stroyent. (you can convert transfer your health to ammo and vice versa.)

I do have crosshairs turned on but because I play at 1680 X 1050, its like 1 pixel thick and when the video is scaled down, these pixels are lost.

ok go get started. Don't be put off by the difficulty curve. I know its not so easy to grasp but give yourself some time. follow an experienced player in game to understand the game. Unfortunately, I play mostly on the aussie and local(singapore)servers so we won't be playing together

Oh don't be so sure..... I can't reach 60 FPS with my 8800GTX and QX6700 with 1680 X 1050, all eye candy max except AA (4x AA)

nope. you don't go around capturing flag points to reduce the opponents tickets.

this game works on one team assaulting and the other defending.

but it sure is worth getting :D

BETA 2 is out, maybe you should give it a shot. Increased FPS, lots of graphical improvements, better rendered sounds and so on. And not to mention a new map: valley. Do a video, you may be surprised! :)

I wouldn't say there were graphical improvements. its more of fixed animations (no more stuttering with the Icarus), better frame rate management, but lower fram rates than Beta 1. (in the past it was typically above 60. now its 40-30 for me)

Hi i to agree that there are alot of idiots that complain against you when it thier fault. e.g lik running infront of you when youre shooting at the enemy (oposite team). nice graphic setting and very smooth. Also people who think there will be a demo wil be waiting till the games out as the beta is the demo sorry.

erm actually during gameplay it isn't that smooth. but sicne this video is 30 frames per second it seems smooth.

yeah this was done with FRAPS.

as for smoother, yeah but thats because its running on a QX6700 and 8800GTX lol. but comapred to Quake 4 and Prey (same doom 3 engine), this game really needs to have better frame rates considering that its running on a top end comp.

Sweet hardware and despise you for it =P. I do agree with what youre saying about the d3 engine as it is a good couple of years old now and surely you think they would have mastered it by now to overcome perfoumance issues with newer hardware

Erm, what I mean is that while Prey and Quake 4 which have BETTER graphics than quake wars, they are able to be played at 60FPS constant (I use Vsync), quake wars which has inferior graphics but still uses the doom 3 engine keeps having dipping frame rates.

IMO, this game's graphics is something like Farcry's, a 2004 game.

True but the graphics have to be lower because its an online multiplayer game.

the rendering of graphics is done on the client's comp. thats why there still are choices to lower or increase the graphics.

hmm. I find it fine. theres nothing much screwy about in IMO....

I only have to say that its annoying that you can't swap immediately to the blaster (pistole) when the Lacerator overheats.

Theres the Early hyperblaster, nailgun (which is really different from quake 4's), railgun.

yo dude if you are on the original enemy territory at all go on the LOD noquarter server. Im on there all the time. version 2.55. becasue 2.6 stinks.

Um, well there's a problem though. I don't live in the UK or in Europe. So the latency will be bout 300-400ms.
