Great start Joe-I like the format. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was my pick for best of the past year. I had no problems with the CGI and I thought that this film had a lot of heart. Stan Winston did the practical dinosaur effects for Jurassic and his work was outstanding. Weta Digital did Apes and they aren't nearly as good as ILM.
@MLKKAEFEnterprises I dont blame the film though. It seems nobidy can really get the CG perfect. I really did like the story itself though. My main problem with the film is the diconnect with me and the main character. I think Weta did as good of a job as anyone could with the CG for now. I think in 10 or 20 years CG will be so go it will look real. Thanks MrKing
I actually really liked the camera movements in Limitless, one of my favorite parts of the film. I agree with you on Rise of the Apes CGI. Great first part.
