I have never seen the Mac PC adds but I think I get it. The PC or Clark there is a professional (read boring) suit and tie sort of guy and Parker or the Mac looks like a teen fan of indie music (read relatable). Is that right? As for why you think it is mean spirited i don't see it. The sub-joke about supe's movie not doing well? You do that all the time and no one takes offence. I liked it.

Youi needn't have worried. I thought the one joke was pretty good. It makes you go, "Oh yeah! That IS how they usually dress!"

They'd be more evenly matched if it was the Smallville version of Superman, then again the Smallville version dresses like Neo with a white Superman logo on his chest and is known as "The Blur".

My view of Superman hasn't changed since After Hours, except maybe to find him more annoying. I seem to find myself on the side of/sympathetic towards whoever is in conflict with Superman, be it physical or just a shouting match. I mean, he did steal the X-Men's director.
