The song is about a battle that was fought in the crimean war which was a war between Russia and an alliance of nations including Great Britain.

Back then it was common for one man to bear the flag of their nation during battles as a way of boosting morale and rallying the troops.

I guess BD is paying homage to this or he's just being patriotic.

the song is about the British charge of the light brigade were 600 horseback cavalry charged into the ''canyon of death'' during the crimean war they were shot at from every side and not many at all survived it was a huge loss for the British but it was made famous because of the bravery of the soldiers who kept charging into the canyon despite the firepower off the russians. Thats why hes waving the flag and everything.

@WinstonBeatAdolf well funningly the charge was a success but a complete mistake. the cavalry successfully reached the artillery and killed the crew but didn't really have anything left to do.... during the retreat, the cannons were simply manned up again by the russians and wasn't too great after that.

reason why he has the british flag out on the trooper is because the song is about the charge of the light brigade which was a british cavalry charge against the russians in the crimean war they charged at the russians through a valley were they was getting shot at from every angle alot of the cavalry men died and the valley became known as the valley of death, it was made famous for the bravery of the british as they knew they all faced certain death but still charged into the valley of death.
