Actually, believe this or not, we have had a great tenor in America for a long time. Michael Bolton. Yes, I said Michael Bolton. Check out Michael Bolton Nessun Dorma. No shit, it is awesome!!!

You're right, Michael Bolton is a great singer, people often get hung up on the press hype and the persona a performer is forced to portray due to that.

There are probably a LOT of great tenors in the states, most of them just don't get the recognition for it due to either singing other styles of music, or not being known at all.

Neal has a great voice, and I think he could train to sing other styles, but I like his operatic style the best.

Mama went up to Heaven today, Tues, Sept 23rd around 12:40pm - I had spent the night with her in her hospital room and I had stepped out as requested by nurses while they bathed her and when I returned she took her few last breaths. I am very sad at this time but do still look forward to being a 2nd assistant to the November grieving support class at my church as I really want to help others know that it will somehow, someway be okay even though it does not feel like it.

I have continuously been singing the "Mama" song you sang last week and it seems to bring peace and comfort to her hospital room. Your voice - singing and speaking - all moves me - you and your mom and the relationship between yout two moves me - this special song you sang moves me - I want to share with you that my "Mama" - my adoptive mother who raised me has not been doing well for the past few years as she has severe case of both diabetes and Parkinson's...she has been bedridden and suffering for quite awhile now - it breaks my heart and yet it humbles me at same time. I love her so much.
