Senator Dodd doesn't seem incredibly enthusiastic in his support for Ned Lamont (e.g. he never says vote for Ned and doesn't say Ned is the best candidate) just that he "is a good man" and can help the democratic vision. Nevertheless, this ad probably will be helpful for Lamont as Dodd is pretty popular. It's kinda sad though that Ned's last hope is to spend a record amount of money on an ad blitz offering no real plan.
I'd point out throwing your support behind someone is not predicting results. I also find the idea that this is somehow surprising to you funny, since Dodd said even before the primary he'd support the primary winner, and was one of the first guys after the primary to come out for Lamont and one of the only to try and get Lieberman to stop his indy bid.
thats going to do nothing but put egg on dodd's face when lieberman wins... plus, how can dodd expect to run for president (which i hope he does) when he can't even correctly predict the results of the junior senate race in his own state?
I feel sorrier for the suckers who think Joe is "Mr. Nice Guy" because he'll be laughing all the way to DC anxiously waiting to cast whatever votes Bush wants!!! After all, he's not going to get too much love from CT when they find out that he really is a traitor so he'll need a lot more kisses from George!
Thank God Ned Lost!

I don't like Joe Lieberman but if he made the liberals that upset, he must have done something right.

thanks for the concern trolling, lieberputz. Now why don't you go back to shilling for Republicans like Joe loves to do.

my god, it's so true - could we bear to have someone in the oval office who isn't perfect at senate predictions? I shudder to think.

NEd, its good to see you with a popular man such as Chris Dodd, more commercials like this would be useful.
