I use TripIt Pro and have logged over 700,000 travel miles through the service. I've personally never had a timeout on the site, so I suspect it's a rare occurrence. The real benefits for me are the mobile features. The alert service for flight delays lets me rebook before anyone else has a clue, and twice I've proven to hotel desks I have the reservation they claimed I didn't.
Just sent my confirmation emails to TripIt and within seconds all the relevant details have been added to my itinerary - unbelievable! Really impressed so far as I added flights, hire car bookings in UK & France, hotel bookings and a ferry trip from Corfu to Italy. Brilliant addition to iPad2 :-)
I reluctantly signed up for the Pro version and I'm glad I did, especially since I now have an iPad2. You don't have to be a frequent flyer to appreciate the value and convenience. I like the way I can simply email my flight reservation/itinerary to Tripit and post immediately to the people in my ‘connections’ list and I’m done. The interface is very clean and sorta Mac like’ in appearance. I do wish they would add a Notes section for those tidbits I feel is relevant to my trip.

Big fan of trip it. Once in a while I have to travel for work but think this app is still worth. So imagine if you travel a lot. Love the video...very google like.

Excellent video, guys! Kudos to Epipheo's script writer and animation team! LMBO! And on top of that, it is so much more helpful than many video clips at 5 minutes. You sure pack a lot in 2. Makes you want to watch again and again....
I like. It good. I travel for work and love that my partner can know where I am and when I am coming and going.

I travel very week. Have been using Tripit Pro for 4 months now - I simply can't imagine being without it. Best app I own. AWESOME!

So far I'm very impressed. I sent my first booking through the plans tripit email and it worked perfect. really easy to use as well.
