@saggitasaggita This simulation is based on the Navier-Stokes equations. I've used a finite difference discretization on the Euler rectangular mesh and for the surface tracking I used the MAC method. Generally I followed the article: F.H Harlow, J.E Welch, Numerical Calculation of Time-Dependent Viscous Incompressible Flow of Fluid with Free Surface, 1965. I hope the answer is satisfying.
Your simulation looks great. I just wonder what CFD method is used. Is it SPH? If so, what is the number particles? Thanks.
