There is no m16 variant featuring A2 body, barrel and stock, but a1 handguard.

Of course, you can assemble a real firearm like that , sure, but it would make no point, and you'll never find such a thing in service with the US army as far as I know.

This gun is NOT good for reenactment, unless you want an A2 and plan to swap the handguard with the A2 one for a 1980s-90s scenario.

But for sure, it's not good for Vietnam war reenactment.

He clearly hasn't a clue about Vietnam gear. If anyone wore gear like that in Vietnam, it was in the early '60s. Regularly in Vietnam, they wore a helmet cover, which actually made the helmet look cool, and they kept their sleeves rolled up. Having your sleeves down makes you look like a WWII-era soldier.

i know they market it as the m16a1 but the real m16a1 does not have a brass deflector, finger groove on pistol grip, a2 birdcage and the modified rear sight. also the barrel looks of the a2 which is thicker. this seems very nice but if only they made it more exact to the real one... love the rambo music theme.
