One other thing is I really like how your clothing already has detail and feels natural. Trying to figure which to include and which to leave out so it reads well is something I only recently started learning about.
BTW, if people want photo realism, they should hire a photographer.
I'd think some hard edges would be good because it adds visual interest by breaking down repetition and that cast shadows have harder edges than form shadows.
Thanks for explaining about the different lock functions, its something I wasn't aware of before but its so simple, I feel dopey for missing it.
Also, I liked your use and explanation of the blend tool. Its something I've poked around with a bit but don't really understand.
