  • This is what I like, emotional preaching done with substance. What is the source and date of this recording! Wondeful stuff!

  • If you listen to bishop when he sings his part, he sounds like he's rapping.

  • I wish someone would post that video of Lena Phillips singing solo again from that concert Bishop Kelsey did in Europe and sang. I forgot the name of the song she sang but it was so spirit-filled and beautiful. It's a song you don't hear anymore.

  • Some of those pictures are from the old church at 6th & H street SW in DC. The Kelsey Temple moved to 14th & Park Road around 1958.

  • The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) has a great legacy! Where are those pictures from?

  • @ElvisLewisJr

The pictures came from various sources on 'the web', but I don't remember which. Try a Google search under 'images'. Good luck,

    Clive.

  • @MoleDFigg Those pictures were taken at The Temple COGIC they renamed the church Kelsey templ when bishop kelsey died at the age of 93. Bishop Kelsy was the first penticostol in washington dc 1924

  • @MoleDFigg i just wanted to take out time to say thankyou for posting up rev k for all with good old time style gospel music

  • I love congregationals, instead of being sung to, everyone participates. Thanks for sharing

  • @TheMindthought

I couldn't agree more, the 'participation' is why I posted it.

  • Wow Pretty awesome stuff. I love it

  • Wow! Great stuff. I heard it at 1 minute, we almost overlapped.

    John
