The Supreme Court allowed Citizens United which gave corporations the same rights as people. Corporations are comprised of people who already have those rights. Now corporations can influence elections and the political process with their money. To fix this Citizens United needs to be outlawed which will not happen with corporate backed Conservatives in Congress.

I support the protest, because there are in fact goals like limiting the influence of wall street and the FED, etc. However, I agree that their goals aren't stated clearly enough and that it does in fact need faces or leaders or whatever you wanna call them, because thats just how the media functions, which in turn creates the needed majority support. In response to the private message you sent me, the main problem with the federal reserve is the abolishment of the gold standard to back our money supply as of 1973. What we have now is a blown out of proportion fractional reserve lending system which simply put, means the fed and big banks can print and loan out more money then they have, creating inflation that far surpasses wage increases. This makes it impossible to earn a living wage for most americans.

In response to the private message you sent me, the main problem with the federal reserve is the abolishment of the gold standard to back our money supply as of 1973. What we have now is a blown out of proportion fractional reserve lending system which simply put, means the fed and big banks can print and loan out more money then they have, creating inflation that far surpasses wage increases. Cliches exist for a reason. In the 2004 repatriation act only 843 firms out of the 27 million in the U.S. benefited from Trillions of dollars that were allowed to be kept in offshore tax havens. 60-92% of the money they saved went to company executives pockets through payouts to stockholders. & you think that is fine.
