I think that is Vinnie Bell on electric sitar on this. If you really want to hear Vinnie Bell give Ravi Shankar a run for his money, listen to "She's A Heartbreaker" by Gene Pitney. Many unique guitar sounds are played by Vinnie on other Four Seasons studio session recordings.
Not 100 percent sure about this, but I think was the last of the big Four Seasons hits for about seven years until they hit again in the mid 70's with songs like Who Loves You and December 1963 ( Oh What a Night ).
Oh man!! I had favorited Shirelles version of this song a while back and I'm a big Four Seasons fan. When I found this song, it was like if Queen did a remix of the old doo wop classic, it's so different. I really like their twist on the song.
only played out of 1 speaker. great version of this song! Perfect version of this song! But wrong year and era. Things in music were changing to the unhappy hate anti everything era! These 4 lads were still singing bout love and heart ache.
How about Toy Soldier?

First heard this on the Four Seasons Edizione D'Oro album back in about 69 or 70. Thought it was great then, still do. Thanks.

My mom used to have that 45. I was just a kid then.
Um, do you suppose you could record the B-side, Around and Around? I was always listening to that side.
