  • Do a quick search for the name, Donna Ron. A few years ago she had the courage to post to the internet what Ayers did to her back in the 60s. Today it's known as kidnapping and rape, gang rape. I admire her courage and thank her for shedding light on an arrogant and dangerous communist punk.

  • Ayres was a TRUE patriot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bill Ayers is nuts why else do you think he was arrested. The was a fugitive. He only got off not going to jail on a technicality. There were people that died in his gov't building bombings including a former girlfriend of his named Diana Oughton. Check wikipedia or any database. He's a jerk and you know it.

  • man ayers protest against war

young americans are so stupid to believe he is terrorist or something

  • I'm pretty sure that he apologized, and he has condemned what he did. I think there's a youtube video about it -- and you can see the open letter he wrote to the NY Times about it. I'm not gonna argue with you if you don't want to like him. Johnnybandmember seems to say some stuff about it below. He seems to know more than me.

  • Bill Ayers never killed anyone.

He protested U.S. napalming babies in Viet Nam.

Bill Ayers blew up a monument dedicated to oppressive police who infringed

upon American's rights to gather, protest, and exercise their free speech.

Bill Ayers is an American hero. He stood up against police brutality and

oppression, yet this man is being labeled a terrorist.

Tim McVeigh was a registered Republican.

    Tim McVeigh killed 168 people.

  • Johnnybandmember has a point: we forget that there were atrocities committed in Vietnam. It shouldn't just go away because they weren't Americans. There's no justice in that.

  • Which part of Ayers is garbage? The one that did something dispicable 40 years ago, or the part that has evidently made important contributions to urban schools in Chicago?

Maybe our goal here is just to insult people -- and possibly each other. So sorry if I'm missing the spirit of this at this point. But I also start to feel a little weird when the postings start to sound like Dirty Harry cliches.

  • This guy sounds like Timothy McVeigh. I guess it's ok to blow up federal buildings as long as you don't hurt kids.

  • no, we should vote obama. there aren't enough liberal socialists running for office these days. long live marxism as well! yeah!

    (please...)

  • How many innocent people did his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, also a leader in the Weathermen, kill with her bombs? Why were making an anti-personnel nail bomb that exploded accidently killing some of their fellow terrorists???

  • it's fox news

  • yeah, they made it up and dubbed over what he really said right genius?

  • no dubbing, i know that what he says there is real, but why does FOX care SOOO much about this man all of a sudden? an old reformed criminal activist and is now a distimguised professor? Obviously b/c they think that somehow they can link his actions to Obama, to make Obama look bad even though it has been proven time and again that Obama has nothing to do with this man besides working with him briefly for an education reform project in illinois.

  • Birds of the feather flock together.

  • and this was way after he got out of jail. Ayers was doing those bombings when

Obama was just a little child in living in hawaii. I guarrantee you that Ayers would NOT be talked about so much if Obama was not running for president, it's a shame how guillible some people can be, it's a smear campaign hidden under the veil of "news"

  • so in answer to your question, i'm not a genius, but i do have the common sense to analyze, research and think for myself. i bet you anything when i'm done talking some stupid shmuck will write "Obama is a terroist b/c he's best friends with a terroist"- bye

  • you sound like a nice person. i never mentioned anything about obama or fox news though. however, i bet if mccain worked on a project with timothy mcveigh, the mainstream media would have killed him... something to consider. if you enjoy reading intellectual and stimulating articles, google professor robert george from princeton. look for his article on obama and infanticide. it'll stun you if you have a heart beating in your chest.

  • No, they took it out of context, Mr. Rocket Scientist.

And then they tried to stretch events that took place 40 years ago because they didn't have anything else to talk about. That's what happens when you hear the same story everywhere. And you specialize in contentless "news."

Sorry I got in on this discussion a little late.

  • oh genius, so he's just an O.K. guy, huh? i knew about this a long time before fox news, and i drew my own conclusions. he's subhuman.

how'd you know i worked for nasa? the joke around here is, "it's not rocket science" lol

  • Well, Ayers has proved that he can contribute to society at this point. And he doesn't preach or practice violence now. Subhuman is a really creepy way to put it. But I still don't think this has much at all to do with Obama.

You could say he's subhuman, but your way your thinking about ethical complexity and guilt by association here is subgenius. lol

Do you really work for Nasa? I had the bad fortune of living in Houston once.

  • none of my comments had anything to do with obama. i simply commented on a domestic terrorist who beat the system, unlike mcveigh. same concept.

yes, and those things you may see in the sky at night are just weather balloons... or lightning or...

  • I think you're right to point out parallels between McVeigh and Ayers - even if we could debate some of the details.

I wonder, though, if Ayers beat the system, or whether Ayers is a success story of the system. How did he end up avoiding the death penalty, while McVeigh didn't? Did McVeigh ever repent for his actions?

  • it's simple: the court of public opinion, and how the media spins the story.

leftists seem to be spun as heroes or liberators (see "V for Vendetta" (great movie though)), and right-wing extremists are considered "nut-jobs". both have an agenda, but one group is almost always given a pass... i don't know why.

  • Public opinion matters for sure. A lot of left-wing extremism is addressed to social justice concerns. Right-wing extremism has tended to fall in a lot of cases on the wrong side of civil rights issues. I think that explains part of the difference you see in films.

But in contrast to the suggestions of left media bias, the fact that we're talking Ayers here results from the way the left -- or anyone against the war -- has been positioned as anti-American: another piece of the media spin.

  • OBAMA'S HOT AYERS NYP 10/13/08

Ayers seemed to envision schools as "sites of resistance" and for teaching kids to oppose "oppression," with a focus on America's evil and racist past - and an eye toward "social transformation." This is the swamp in which Obama operated: The Journal notes that Obama was chairman of the CAC board, which handled fiscal matters. All told, Ayers and Obama won more than $150 million to ladle out.

  • Proverbs 1

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not....walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

  • Ayers radical activitism contributed to the lost of an entire country to communism. Do you think that's something to laugh off???

  • How is this man a teacher at a University?

  • anyone want to take risk? remember 24?

  • and did the play there rest of the video? good ol fox news sure does alot of editing

  • are u guys freaking serious! during the 60's people rights were close to none... thats why there was the black panter movements, woman rights movements, people like john lennon fighting to get innocent people out of jail. that was the sprite of the 60's but people don't really look back on those days anymore. they're to caught up on the bush nation

  • So from 1776 to 1969 no one had any rights at all and that's why its was only during the 60s that celebrities, radical leftists and racial fascists fought for our rights :p

    Get a clue.

  • get a clue! looks like u need a little more studying. during the time for white america yes there were rights, but for all other ethnic group and woman were not established. looks like u need to study up on the civil rights movement my friend. the fight for america as a whole we were equal...example the civil war, and the world wars. but after all that equal rights was still under major construction

  • and yet ,acording to obama, the democrats let him outta jail.

  • What a terrorist, why isnt he in jail? FUK!

  • really intelligent comment buddy

  • kaikalai- Thank "buddy" I guess approve of people who want children to "kill their parents" and blow up the Capitol, Pentagon and NYC Police HQ to go free. He also planned to kill Gis at Fort Dix but the bomb went off and killed his hippie scum friends insted. Smuckin fart icehole!
