@warwick109 Yeah, gotta agree. I'm also amazed that a .308 anything would hit a rabbit and it would run that far. I shoot a squirrel with a shot from my .22 S410 and it drops dead, through the chest. Both those shoulder shot rabbits ran off like they hadn't been hit. I'd expect the 308 would knock them out, dead on impact.

My BSA .25 Lonestar puts down jacks just as fast....blows their eyeballs out if you shoot them in the head. Last skunk I killed dropped in his tracks. JSB and Baracuda .25 pellets are just under 4 cents a pop. Forget somebody's mention of a depinger. I shoot prairie dogs with and without a suppressor....and it makes no difference. What is important is to stay subsonic and eliminate ballistic crack. Suppressors are extra BS. I hunt PD's with a dog, he gets their attention and they ignore me.

Wow that is rubbish shooting. You should be going for instant kills. E.g.head shots
