@corybiro Trey was kind of sloppy in the early days of Morbid Angel, but once you get around to the Domination album, he got a lot cleaner and more technical. Though he never lost the unique, psychadelic, almost watery sound to his solos.

People often hear MA solos from AoM and BatS and think they are Trey, but if you look in the booklets, you see that its Brunelle. Infact, I think he plays MORE solos than Trey on Altars. I would have love to see him make a comeback with MA.
that's not true, Brunelle in Altars Of Madness perform 19 solos while Azagthtoh perfroms 20; moreover Azagthoth wrote every song (some with the help of Vincent) and Brunelle didn't write anything
Do you have a Kahler? When you tighten the arm screw, they flutter really good. I have had many guitars with Kahlers, and all of them did flutter. I have also had lots of axes with original and licensed Floyds, but only some of them can flutter better than a Kahler. Some others can't flutter at all, even factory installed.
Getting a Kahler is a guarantee you will be able to flutter.

i listened to blessed are the sick more than any other album ever...its sad and rather tragic that he hasn't really gone anywhere since..in the late 9os he also was in and out of the band..never explaining he core "differences" he had with the band.

Awhile after the formation of PTP Rich was replaced by another guitarist. I think he cut his hair too. This was all in an interview I read awhile back.
