  • My love, God is good all the time. Let God have the glory over this situation.

    love ya,

    Phyllis

  • you are so awesome. I cant even begin to imagine how hard it is to stay so positive!

  • Hello Carey, I'm typing this with tears in my eyes, as I have never related to someone's situation and felt their emotions as I just have. I also have been having seizures & an endless list of other symptoms, only to be disregarded by doctors & neurologists-who can't find a diagnosis. My wonderful gf of 15yrs lost her job in order to care for me. We have 2 little dogs who are very instinctive about if I have an impending seizure, and they are SO loving.I'm going to watch your other videos. XO

  • Hey Carey I ♥ You so much I subrscribed because like you are awesome and I really hope you get better and I hope the medications are helping. ♥♥

  • Thanks for subscribing, don't hope for anything short term, this is a long journey to wellness....but i hope that it will get better little by little.

  • Hi Carey! I'm so glad to "meet" you and find your video channel. I want you to know that I have subscribed to you, not because you subscribed to me, but because I want to see you vids. Hang in there. ((HUGS)) Lisa

  • I'm glad, I hope you enjoy them and thanks for subscribing.

  • I just subscribed, and your videos have touched me in a way no other videos have. It's so good to see another such supportive gay couple. I am gay as well, and without my partner I can't even get through the flu. I really am hoping so much for you. If there's ever anything you need. Feel free to contact me.

  • I'm glad you have somebody in your life that cares for you, it makes the worst times better. I'm glad you enjoyed my videos and I never know quite what to say when people are so touched, I just try to be honest about what is going on in my life and you get to see both the good and the bad. Thank you for subscribing and I hope you keep enjoying them.

  • wth he isnt gay...

  • I wish that I could say that I know how you feel...but I don't. I live with my aunt and she has chronic epilepsy. it has effected her left temperole lobe and in the center of her brain. She is very sick and has lots of seizeures. Hers last from 2-4 min a piece. Mabye she can help. cagedsongbird. Do you know if there is anything i can be doing for her? I love her so much and it is really hard to feel so helpless. I hope you feel better soon!(((HUGS))to you....Amanda

  • I'm having less seizures due to medicine, Keppra in particular has helped a lot. I'm sorry you aunt has to face this frustrating illness. The best you can do is educate yourself on seizures and how to respond after a seizure to know if she needs further help. Check the links listes above, they are a good start and there's a great community here, just search you'll find people fighting seizures. Best to you.

  • It's so much harder to see someone you love suffer in pain than being in pain yourself...you are truly blessed to have your wife to love you Carrie. PEACE

  • I'm a lucky kid, and she's amazing. Thanks for watching.

  • huggles! stay strong sweetie! i know how it goes. here for u always!

  • :) Hang in there, 'cause I am.

  • Oh, Carrie! Strong or not strong, sick or not sick, your amazing spirit shines through, and you are something sooooo special. I'm so glad I've gotten this virtual chance to get to know you.

  • I've heard often that I am an old soul and I tend to agree. I know that our vernacular cannot express the situations of many with illness. I think there's a reason that we've meet...we'll see, I look forward to the journey.

  • You are so right, it's not about strength but how determined someone is to fight the monster within yourself. These last three weeks for me have been filed with arguments between my Mom and I because I don't feel she understands me. My epilepsy is so bad that I have multiple seizures a day, yet no one cares, so I often have them alone and am forced to deal with the fear and ridicule afterwards. Oh what types of things we put up with...I admire you so much!:)

  • Battles with loved ones can be a whole other Monster, I've been there too. My mom used to go to doctors visits and lie to doctors , when she was not living with me day to day. I know that fear, vulnerability, and pain of dealing with a seizure alone. It is just the determination to fight the Monster, and I know you'll keep fighting...keep me posted.
