stimbapomba have you ever fired a 7.62 ak47 on fully automatic the recoil is worse than this game. thats not realalistic enough. even the ak74 the 5.45 round controlls much better but in full auto good luck. you need to stop playing video games and watching movies and go shoot sum real guns

How did you get the recoil like that? Is there any ARMA2 OA recoil mods, the recoil is very high and unrealistic.

@stimbapomba Hm, you atent right. Some people (or all) cant fire the AK47 full-auto with hitting something, becaus enormally your Barel rises 10 cm with each shot. The M16 Recoil in Arma II is quite right.

@andromedarr Yea thats true, but the recoil in ARMA2 is different to ARMA2 Operation Arrohwead. The M16 in arma2 has like no recoil compared to it in OA.

@tman383 the sound it's actually pretty realistic... sure it should be louder but i watched some ak-74 video and you can hear the characteristic sound also in real life

From very early after ARMA2 was released I was hitting the BIS forums about having headshake for all shooting - not just scopes. As far as I can tell I was the only one to be asking for it - glad they listened :-)

AK74 rules, is a killing machine in Close combat TvTs.

Anyway, the headshake implementation IS AWESOME! hope they apply it on vehicles too.

@Reichx4 its not a ak47 *sigh* you people really need to learn your weapons. Not every Russian weapon is ak47. THIS is a ak74, there are also ak-101 103 105 107 and ect. Ak-47 is shit compared to new ones.

@DarkHour404 And there is also an AK74. Despite the guns looking very similar, the guy you replied to is probably right, considering it looks like he has played the game. Also the guy below him also said ak74. Also, if you take the time the game is based on, and compare the two weapons, it is more then likely the solider in this video is using an ak74, because it was designed in 1974, the ak47 was designed in 1944. Wouldnt it make more sense for a professional solider to be using the newer gun?

@MrRyubusa acctually I noticed a problem, I did not mean to post on this video, I had 2 videos up on arma, and on one comment a guy said "hes using a ak47". I replied too him and my I was not paying attention and my reply went to this video. Sorry about that lol.

Also, I do play the game and in this video, it is being played by a malitia and not a Professional soldier. The Russians in this video use a Ak-105 and in the ACe mod a AK-74M.

@MrRyubusa The AK-74 isn't just an updated AK-47. It shoots a much smaller bullet, so there is still a valid choice to make between them.
